Hummus is a Middle Eastern favorite, traditionally made from ridiculously healthful ingredients such as ground up chickpeas (garbanzo beans), garlic, tahini, lemon juice and a dash of olive oil.

Filled with fiber, plant protein, vitamins and minerals, this is the perfect food for filling you up and not out. Serve as a dip with warm whole grain pita or raw veggies or even as a filling for a sandwich with extra veggies piled on and you will be making a wise nutrition choice.
