Get the junk food out of the house (especially the sugary drinks)

Out of sight, out of mind. If you do not have soda, sports drinks or other sugar-sweetened beverages in the pantry, your kids won’t drink them. Offer alternative drinks such as water, unsweetened iced tea and fat-free milk.
