Fitness & Nutrition Coach

Adam graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelors degree in Health Fitness and Cardiac Rehabilitation and then went on to complete his Masters degree in Exercise Science & Health Promotion. During his time at Central Michigan University he worked as a fitness specialist at the campus gym where he gained experience training patrons of all ages and skill levels. Adam also worked as a speed & agility coach for a private facility where he focused on improving sport specific movements for athletes. Adam is a certified personal trainer through ACSM and is a certified speed & agility coach through NASE.

Health & fitness have always been Adam’s passion. He loves to share his knowledge and training style with others to help them reach their goals. His enthusiasm ensures that each training session will be fun, unique and effective. Adam is also an avid sports fan and loves to compete whenever he can.

Fitness and Nutrition Coach

Emily graduated from Central Michigan University (Fire Up Chips!) with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Fitness and Cardiac Rehabilitation. She grew up an athlete as a dancer, gymnast and runner, and grew to live an active and healthy lifestyle. During her time at CMU, she stayed active by being a co-ed/sideline and all-girl/competitive cheerleader. Her last semester was spent at a cardiac rehabilitation facility where she was able to work with many clients, teaching and training them how to exercise appropriately for their body and maintain a proper diet. Her love for sports and fitness has brought her to coaching gymnastics, which she has now been doing for 12 years.

Emily enjoys working together with people of all ages to come up with goals and plans of how to live and maintain a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle. She is looking forward to helping others learn how to take care of themselves and always have fun doing so. She believes a little motivation can help make anyone reach their goals, and that’s what she is here for.

Fitness And Nutrition Coach

Matt graduated with his bachelor's degree from University of Michigan. (GO BLUE!) and has his personal training certification through the American Council of Sports Medicine.  He has been interested in nutrition and health his entire life, doing everything from reading nutrition labels to volunteering in hospitals. As an adult, he fell in love with exercise and found his way to a job at a Physical Therapy clinic, where he witnessed first-hand how much proper exercise can impact a person's life. During his 3 years in Physical Therapy, he worked with patients as young as 4, as old as 93, and a number of collegiate and professional athletes. When he isn't helping others, he enjoys lifting weights, riding his bike, and chasing his dog, which happens to be his favorite form of exercise!

Matt believes in a holistic approach to fitness, where a good exercise program is balanced with proper nutrition, good sleep habits, and a great attitude. He enjoys working with all ages and fitness levels and is excited to help others reach their fitness goals.

Nick graduated from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor’s degree in clinical exercise science. He is a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CPT).  From a young age Nick has loved sports and staying active. As he got older he developed a passion for health and fitness and has incorporated it into his daily lifestyle. He has worked with clients of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels to help educate them and motivate them to reach their health and fitness goals.

Nick is a very positive, kind, and supportive trainer/coach. His goal is to make each training session fun, challenging, and effective. There’s nothing that makes him happier than when he can help a client reach his or her personal goals.

Lead Fitness and Nutrition Coach

Charles has been in the fitness field for nearly nine years and is the head trainer for Fitness Together Novi. He has received his Masters in Exercise Science from Oakland University and is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through NSCA. Charles is also a certified personal trainer through ACE and NASM. His extensive background includes working in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, corporate wellness, and health coaching, as well as personal training. Charles likes to use his knowledge and experience in helping people reach their ultimate goals. His enthusiastic outlook makes training sessions not only challenging, but fun. Charles enjoys sports and exercise of all types especially running where he likes to participate in marathons and is beginning to compete in triathlons.
