June Client Spotlight: Allison

Busy meetings. A packed schedule. Raising a young son.

Like many people, Allison knew she felt better when she exercised - but finding a routine she could stick with was the challenge.

When Allison joined Fitness Together Burlington in 2022, her goal was simple: get back into a consistent workout routine, build strength, and feel better overall.

And that's exactly what she's done.

Finding a Routine That Works

Between work, family life, and everything else on her calendar, Allison could have plenty of reasons to skip her workouts.

Instead, she makes them a priority.

Today, Allison trains with us 3-4 times per week through a combination of Small Group Training and Private Training. Having both options allows her to stay consistent while fitting workouts into her busy schedule.

Over time, those workouts have become part of her routine and the results have been incredible.

Building Strength and Confidence

When Allison first started, she was looking to get stronger and feel better in her everyday life.

Now she's doing things she may not have imagined a few years ago:

  • Trap bar deadlifts
  • Push-ups
  • Chin-ups
  • And many other challenging strength exercises!

Her strength has increased significantly, and she can feel the difference both inside and outside the gym.

Since joining Fitness Together, Allison has:

  • Lost 27 pounds
  • Reduced her body fat by 9%
  • Dropped 7 levels of visceral fat
  • Lost 20 inches overall
  • Maintained her lean body mass while losing weight

She has also lost:

  • 4 inches around her waist
  • 2 inches around her hips
  • 2 inches around her arms

These results are a great example of what can happen when strength training, consistency, and healthy habits come together.

Taking Care of Her Whole Health

As her strength and core stability have improved, Allison has also noticed a big improvement in her back pain.

She is also a member of our Recovery Program, which helps her improve mobility, recover from workouts, and keep her body feeling its best.

By combining strength training with recovery work, Allison has created a routine that supports her overall health-not just her workouts.

Why Allison Inspires Us

What makes Allison's story so relatable is that she doesn't have endless free time.

She's a busy professional. She's a mom. She has meetings, responsibilities, and a full calendar.

But she still finds a way to show up.

Week after week, she makes time for herself, builds strength, and invests in her health.

Her story is a great reminder that you don't need a perfect schedule to see results. You just need a plan that works for your life and the consistency to stick with it.
