April Client of the Month: Hannah M

She also wanted to keep losing weight, but in a way that helped her build muscle, tone her body, and feel more confident. At the time, she didn’t feel strong at all. She was also dealing with low back pain from sitting so much and had past ankle injuries that made some movements feel tough.

But she didn’t let that stop her.

Working Out From Home

Hannah trains with us virtually, right from her home.

She started with very little equipment, and over time added a few simple pieces that fit easily in her space. Nothing fancy but just what she needs to stay consistent.

She trains three mornings a week, and even on the days she doesn’t feel like it, she still shows up. Now, it’s just part of her routine!

Getting Stronger Every Week

When Hannah first started, a lot of exercises felt really hard.

Now, she’s doing things she never thought she could:

  • Planks used to be a challenge, now she’s doing up-down planks.
  • Bulgarian split squats are still a love/hate that being said, she’s doing them with weights
  • Deadlifting 45 lbs
  • Rowing 25–30 lbs (she started around 10 lbs!)

Her strength has improved a lot, and she can feel a difference in her everyday life.

Working Through Challenges

We’ve also worked around her past ankle injuries so she can keep making progress without feeling held back.

And her lower back pain?
It has improved a lot as she’s gotten stronger.

Even cardio, which she’ll be the first to say she finds boring, has made its way into her routine. She’s now adding it in to help her get ready for a big goal:

Hiking Mount Fuji in Japan this fall.

Real Progress

Over the past two years, Hannah has lost an incredible 110 pounds.

She started that journey before coming to us, but strength training has helped her keep going, not just losing weight, but building muscle and seeing real changes in her body.

She’s not just focused on the scale anymore.
She feels stronger, more confident, and more in control of her health.3
