Breezing Metabolic Tracker

Fitness Together is proud to announce Breezing, the metabolic tracker. Breezing allows us to determine the exact amount of calories your body naturally burns in a resting state.
Why is this information important? Nutrition is the hardest part of losing, gaining or maintaining weight. Up until now we relied on a basic formula that would help us estimate how many calories you should be eating. The problem is the formula is based on an average of individuals who participated in a study. So yes, it's a quick and easy "idea" of what you should be eating but the problem is, nutrition is very different for every person. Some people fall right in line with that formula and will see results. But what happens if you don't fall in line with that formula?
We've seen cases where the formula states someone should be eating 1800 calories but then the client tests at 1300 calories. What does this mean? It means that we would be telling this person to go home and gain a pound of fat a week!!
Thanks to breezing this will no longer happen, we will be able to dial up exactly how many calories an individual needs and then plan their caloric intake around this.
We believe Breezing to be so important it will be mandatory for all new clients. If you are a current client and interested in finding out your Resting Energy Expenditure (REE) please contact Sean Flippo at email@example.com or just walk up to him and mention it.
Couple Things To Note:
- The ideal time to measure is immediately upon waking, with overnight (8-hour) fasting. Wait at least 4 hours if you've eaten a moderate (~500 kCal) meal.
- Wait at least 4 hours after moderate exercise; at least 12 hours after strenuous exercise. (Everything you do here will require 12 hours)
