Why do we stop too soon?
Mar 31, 2025
When we start a fitness program and it doesn't seem to be working, we tend to stop and try to find something new.
The problem with that is, it's a cycle you will do over and over again.
What we need to do is these steps and stick with them NO MATTER WHAT..UNTIL we see the results we are after.
1. Find a trainer. Workout 2-3x/week with them and walk 10K steps the other days. Find something to do the other days! Don't allow days off, get in the habit of movement everyday!
2. Find a nutrition plan that works for you. You must find something.
*We recommend you count calories- My Fitness Pal app is great.
*You need to meal prep lunch and dinner.
*You can do Keto, paleo, vegetarian, vegan etc... You just need to be consistent and know what's going in your body
If you are (*insert height**) and (*Insert weight*) you need a set amount of calories to maintain that weight. If you want to lose weight, then we would take away 300 calories from your diet and your workout would cause you to burn 300-500 calories.
3500 calories = 1 lb lost!
3500 calories / 600 calories is 6 days to lose 1 lbs.
The issue that people run into is, they don't accurately track calories and they don't move enough...you can't "assume" you ate 1500 calories today, you must track it and know what you ate!
3. Be persistent for the results YOU WANT!...You will see results if you stay consistent and work hard, it takes time! A 2 mile walk once a day won't turn the scale # down. Lifting light weights once a week won't give you the 6 pack you want.
HARD WORK will.
Have a plan. Stick with it.
The accountability of having a trainer is huge! Having a weekly reminder of WHY you want to get stronger and healthier is so important.
What are you struggling with today?
