We are professionals with the best certifications and years of experience working with a range of clients: from seniors to youths and for those who have never exercised before, to those who want to train for a triathlon. We are here to take you from where you are to where you want to be - at your desired pace. We work as a team and it is likely that you will work with all of us at some point during your program. Think of how motivating it is to know that you have a team of friendly faced, passionate experts that care about you and your goals. Ashley graduated from Fitchburg State College with a BA in Exercise Science. Before becoming a personal trainer, she traveled to Costa Rica where she rode horseback around an active volcano and ziplined through the Rainforest. She also lived in San Francisco for one of her college summer internships.  Growing up Ashley played soccer and did gymnastics.  She is a bit obsessed with protein and loves weight lifting.  She is always experimenting with different forms of fitness. Her most recent adventures include P90X, Crossfit, and indoor floor hockey. She became a personal trainer because she wants to help others lead an active lifestyle. Ashley is passionate about her work and wants to share the benefits with as many people as possible. She knows that taking that initial step is not easy. Ashley loves working with all types of clients. She has a lot of energy…and if she can’t get you to enjoy your workouts, then no one can!

Mike graduated from Keene State College with a bachelors degree in Exercise Science.  Before Mike found Fitness Together he spent 3 years as a trainer to KSC students, staff, and faculty members. He also did an internship as an Assistant Strength Coach for the KSC athletic teams.  In high school, Mike played football, basketball, soccer, track and field, and lacrosse.  During his college career he played rugby all 4 years.  This includes being a part of the 2009 KSC rugby team who fought their way to 2nd in the nation for Division III rugby.  This past winter Mike found a new passion in snowboard cross. During his first season as a boarder x racer, Mike qualified to compete in the nationals at Copper Mountain Colorado, where he earned 8th place!  Mike desires to help people reach their health and fitness goals.  This desire was ignited in college and is continually fueled by the extraordinary Fitness Together clientele who make his career choice fun, challenging, and rewarding.  Had Mike not found his passion for fitness he most likely would have made millions in the fashion industry as a high class hand model, luckily for us that is not the case.

NSCA- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, BS in Athletic Training

Jack graduated from the University of Vermont with a BS in Athletic Training. He chose this major because it combined two of his biggest interests: athletics and medicine. Before becoming a personal fitness coach himself, Jack played many team sports and has enjoyed outdoor activities like hiking, surfing, biking and snowboarding.  He still plays soccer regularly and gets outdoors as much as possible - year round! Before finding Fitness Together Newtonville Jack was a practicing ATC at BU, helping athletes of all ages to recover from (and prevent) injuries. To develop his skills further, he went on to earn his  Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification in 2012 to help further guide individuals toward their health goals. His whole life has revolved around athletics and exercise- when he is not participating in it, he is trying to help others participate and enjoy it. Exercise can bring about great change- physically, mentally and emotionally- and it means a lot to Jack to be able to help people enact those changes in their own lives.

Nolan graduated from Umass Boston with a degree in Political Science and International Relations.  He is a lifelong resident of Newton and has been strength training for 15 years, becoming a personal trainer in 2008.  Before he found Fitness Together Nolan was an avid sports participant and a global traveler.  He played football and lacrosse at Newton North as well as soccer, baseball, and track. Nolan has traveled across 5 continents and hopes someday to see the rest of the world!  He has learned threelanguages throughout his travel adventures and someday hopes to learn the rest!  Nolan is passionate about leading a healthy lifestyle and he wants to share this excitement with others to create a pattern of positive lifestyle changes.  He has trained a wide variety of clients ranging from pre-teens to elders and individuals in wheel chairs to body builders.  Nolan’s approach to fitness is three-pronged, encompassing strength training, cardio vascular training, and a balanced nutrition. Each one compliments the other and is equally important to ensure a healthy body and mind.

Personal Trainer/Soft spoken Brazilian bad ass/Nice Ninja

NPTI/NASM Certified Personal Trainer

Growing up in Brazil Thiago was obsessed with Dragon ball Z, Jean Claude Van Damme, and Mike Tyson. He was shadow boxing long before he ever knew what that meant.  In 2008 Thiago earned his personal training certificate from the National Personal Training Institute. That same year he joined his first boxing gym. It wasn't long before he was mixing the two skills and creating intense martial arts/circuit training hybrid workouts. Thiago has also trained in Krav Maga ( the Israli hand to hand combat system) and Muay Thai.  Before Thiago joined the Fitness Together team he trained out of VO2 Max, a boxing/strength and conditioning gym.  Whether you are interested in getting in shape or learning how to box, Thiago would love to help you reach you goals.
