Vitamin D
Sep 14, 2012
You can feel it in the air. Fall is right around the corner with winter following soon after. As our time in the natural sunlight gets shorter, our vitamin D levels drop. Vitamin D plays an important role in mood regulation, metabolism, immune system strengthening and brain function. Supplementing with vitamin D during the colder months goes a long way towards overall health AND body composition goals. It is wise to get your vitamin d levels checked by your doctor before experimenting with how much you should supplement with. Keep your vitamin d levels up throughout the fall and winter months and reap the benefits!
