Holiday Challenge Week 4

I have been battling being sick for this past week and it has made things difficult for me, (have not gotten to the gym). This has been my worst week of eating, and its time to stop justifying my choices and get back to full-time clean eating. My first mistake was not going food shopping last Sunday and it just snowballed all week in work since my firm loves fattening us up for the Holidays .

As a reminder, this is the halfway mark and I know that I can give a much better effort in the second half of the Holiday challenge. As the old saying goes, its not how to start but how you finish.

For me, I have found that how I finish all depends on getting a good night sleep. I am going to challenge myself to be in bed at 9:30 for the remainder of the competition (usually a 12am type of guy so this is terribly hard for me). This will help me feel rested and lead to more 6am gym sessions. When I am physically tired I also find myself making sloppy meal choices and this has to stop. I have heard that many of you are working hard and really competing and I love it. Its time for me to hold up my end of the deal and outwork everyone! That is my promise, I will give 100% effort for the next four weeks and be happy with whatever the outcome is.
