The winter months are in full effect! Usually with the cold climate we also move around a lot less. What can we do to combat the feeling of lethargy? Get up and move!!
Most conceptions are that in order to get an "exercise" effect, one must go to the gym that day. Not true! While going to the gym is extremely helpful, we can't get close minded on other activities that can be fun and rewarding.
Activities such as snowshoeing, cross country skiing, or hiking, can be fun yet give you that calorie burning effect. Don't feel that you need to be stuck on a treadmill or elliptical in order to meet your cardio goals. Bundle up, get out, and move! So take advantage of the snow and have fun WHILE exercising!!
