HOW TO USE YOUR HSA OR FSA AT FITNESS TOGETHER WHEN YOU QUALIFY

There are two simple ways to use your HSA or FSA for eligible personal training.

  1. Pay directly with your HSA or FSA card

If your HSA or FSA is affiliated with a major card network, you can use it just like a credit card for eligible training sessions.

  1. Submit receipts for reimbursement

If your account does not allow direct payment, you can still submit your training receipts to your HSA or FSA administrator for reimbursement.

WHEN TRAINING BECOMES TREATMENT

If your qualified healthcare provider, such as a doctor, physical therapist, or nurse practitioner, recommends personal training to support your health, your sessions at Fitness Together may qualify for reimbursement.

Common examples include:

  • Weight management or obesity
  • Diabetes or metabolic conditions
  • Heart disease or cardiovascular concerns
  • Post-injury or surgical rehabilitation
  • Mobility or musculoskeletal challenges

BENEFITS OF USING FSA/HSA FOR TRAINING

  • Save money: Pay for training with pre-tax dollars.
  • Stay consistent: Having sessions covered or reimbursed helps you commit to your goals.
  • Improve health outcomes: Regular exercise can reduce stress, improve heart health, boost energy, and support long-term wellness.
  • Invest in prevention: You're not just managing health-you're actively preventing future issues.

MAKE YOUR HEALTH SAVINGS WORK FOR YOU

Your HSA and FSA dollars are designed to help you stay healthy. Use them to invest in your strength, energy, and confidence.

Fitness Together can help you turn every training session into a smarter step toward long-term health.

Use my HSA or FSA funds

Fitness Together does not evaluate a client's services or situation to determine eligibility for Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) reimbursement. Clients are responsible for determining if they have met the eligibility requirements, to obtain a Letter of Medical Necessity, and to monitor their continued eligibility to submit charges to their HSA/FSA. Clients should review any questions regarding their HSA/FSA with their HSA/FSA administrator.
