Circumference measurements are important because they paint a better more overall picture of how your body is transforming. Have you ever gotten on the scale and gotten discouraged because you only lost 2-3lbs in a course of 4-6 weeks? But then you take your measurements and you just lost 3 in. off your waistline, you just bought a size smaller in clothes and you see more definition around your body. Now that number on the scale doesn’t mean anything in comparison to how much you have truly lost. Circumference measurements along with Body Fat testing are the two most important and realistic numbers you should ever focus on. They are more reliable and are a more accurate account of your progress.

Body circumference measurements are an important part when it comes to tracking your body’s transformation. The numbers are not as glorified as when you see weight loss but they are just as important. Losing inches off your waist and maintaining a healthy waistline is important in order to prevent diseases like heart disease, diabetes and many more. You can also visually see the changes your body is going through with circumference measurements. Dropping a pants size or dress size go hand and hand with how your measurements are going. Sometimes the smallest changes in your body can go a long way to living a healthier life.

Circumference measurements are great because they allow us to better obtain measurements about specific trouble areas. It's hard to pinpoint progress only relying on a scale when weight can fluctuate throughout the day. Circumference measurements are a more reliable way to track a better comprehensive summary of the body. It is also great for certain clients who are happy with their weight and want to gain more size and lean out while maintaining the same weight.
