Tell us how training at FT has changed you:
With my work schedule (60+ hours a week), it is super easy to let work-outs take a back-burner to everything else going on. Fitness Together (and my awesome trainer, Kerri) has motivated me to make sure that I routinely work-out every week no matter how busy I get. I haven’t been this dedicated to working out regularly since college, which was over 10 years ago, so I know that this is an amazing investment in my health!
Why do you like Fitness Together?
I love the one-on-one training. Kerri is absolutely amazing – she is not just my trainer, but she’s also become my friend (albeit my very-in-shape, butt-kicking friend!)
How did you discover Fitness Together?
I passed by a Fitness Together studio on the street and thought that the concept was awesome . . . And here I am 2+ years later :o)
Tell us some of the results you have achieved:
I am so much less lopsided in terms of strength than I used to be – my left side has caught up with my right side, finally!
Do you do 1-on-1 training? If so, why do you like it?
I love 1-on-1 training with Kerri. She pushes me to try my hardest and I know that I get so much more out of a 45 minute work-out with her than if I just worked out on my own at the gym. Also, I’m comfortable being massively uncoordinated in front of her – much easier having her be the only one to see me flailing about.
What is your favorite exercise?
Weighted crunches on an exercise ball. It hurts, but that’s ok because I know that it’s working!
What is your favorite healthy food?
Plain Greek yogurt with berries
What is your favorite “cheat meal”?
Linguine with garlic and olive oil and a little bit of romano cheese. The Italian in me love love loves this!
