Tell us how training at FT has changed you:
I’m now a workout junkie. If I’m not in a yoga studio, I’m at a gym or talking about my workouts. I hate to miss a workout - I’ll move everything around to get in a session. Before I started working out with a trainer, weights were foreign objects located in the scary ‘guy’ section of the gym. Because of my trainer, I now understand how to put together an effective workout and reach my goals. I also now prefer to use the ‘guy’ section of the gym and rarely get on a cardio machine.
Why do like Fitness Together North End:
I like Fitness Together as my favorite trainer, Chris, works there.
Tell us some of the results you have achieved:
120lbs bulgarian split squats. 3 sets of 10 pull-ups. 100 snatches in under four minutes. Overall, I’m now leaner and stronger.
Why do you like one-on-one training?
I become bored easily and like learning new skills and/or techniques. One-on-one training allows me to learn and ensure my workouts continue to challenge me while getting results. My main goal is stay healthy and fit while having fun. Chris is an awesome trainer - He is able to keep my workouts structured, while making them fun and challenging. His techniques are very effective and every move has a purpose.
What is your favorite exercise?
Turkish get-up. It’s a great full body exercise.
What is your favorite healthy food?
I don’t really have one - I love all food and try to eat the things I love in moderation. When I want to get really lean, I try to eat healthy six days a week; eating mostly unprocessed foods. The seven day is what ever I want. It’s a full out cheat day.
What is your favorite “cheat meal”?
Ice cream or cup cakes.
