Trainer Tuesday, July 30: What’s your “go-to” post-workout snack or meal?

My go to post workout snack usually consists of something quick and balanced. I usually do a protein shake, with a handful of almonds and some type of berries.

Almonds or almond/peanut butter. Occasionally I'll splurge on some high vitamin/high protein shake, like Myoplex.

Brian:

If I have some whey protein powder that is great. It is easy to prepare and gets into my system quickly. But if I don't have any protein I usually would have some veggies and protein (hamburger, chicken, bison, etc.). So usually bell peppers, broccoli, protein, and mesclun mix/romaine lettuce.
