As a fellow occasional insomniac, I've learned the importance of getting to bed around the same time every night and avoiding light, especially from screens, near bedtime. I have one problem though.... Internet surfing before bedtime is my favorite thing to do!

Solution? Get a pair of amber tinted glasses. Make sure they have good reviews and block out blue light. Blue light suppresses melatonin production. Melatonin is a sleep hormone your body produces when the sun sets. So if you have trouble dozing off, especially if you need to use a computer or watch tv late, consider getting a pair of glasses and see how much better you feel.
