Are you a Warrior?

The Warrior Dash
June 4 & 5, 2011
Logan, Ohio

warrior_dash_fullThe Dash, as it is fondly called, is a grueling 3.10-mile off-road race that challenges one’s endurance, strength, agility, coordination and balance, (everything FT works on with its clients) while tackling a variety of obstacles:

Junk yard jam - runners stamped through a scrap yard of junked cars
Warrior roast - leap over warrior fires
Knee high hell - speed step through 100s of tires
Warrior wall - conquer wooden barricades
Cargo climb - maneuver over the cargo nets
Tunnel of terror - burrow through a black tunnel
Deadweight drifter - trudge through waist-deep water and over logs
Muddy mayhem - scramble beneath barbed-wire as you near the finish line

Ross Bradley, manager of the Solon studio found out just how important balance is. He raced Sunday, June 5, after a hard rain. The course itself was muddy and slippery, and Ross found himself in the dirt quite a bit. As Ross covered the finish line, with arms raised, he was covered head-to-toe in mud.

Pat Telich, trainer at the Rocky River studio raced in true warrior fashion. Placing 30th out of 9,000. Pat’s speed on the course was amazing: 5:25 minute miles.
