Men’s Health Month: Prevention and Steps to Improve the Quality of Your Life
Posted By: Stacy Rhea on 06/14/2011
PREVENTION
Men die younger than women from the *top causes of death. As a result, the average woman outlives the average man by more than five years. But it doesn’t have to be this way. More than half of these premature deaths are preventable, along with about 60 percent of chronic diseases, and most injuries and accidents. By taking charge of your own preventative care, you can protect your health.
Most of these causes are largely preventable. So put down that pizza, grab your workout gear and start taking the necessary steps to live healthier and longer.
Heart Disease
Cancer
Unintentional Injuries
Stroke
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Diabetes
Steps you can take to improve the quality and length of your life
