The Warrior and the Cyclist

The real reason Tim signed up for the Warrior Dash: “Beer.”
Seriously, Reynolds signed up for the Warrior Dash, because, he says with a huge grin, “it looks like a lot of fun!” His two sons were talking about registering for the inaugural Ohio event, and Reynolds thought it would be cool to race together.  Reynolds said, he later found out that the main attraction for the boys was the post race beer party.

“Whatever gets you moving, I guess, Reynolds says.

“Three miles shouldn’t be a big challenge,” Reynolds says, “except there seems to be plenty of hills.”

Of course, the “obstacles” on the course --  jumping across fire, sliding under barbed wire, through mud, etc., will add a fun twist, Reynolds says.

To prepare for the 2.9-hellish race, Reynolds is adding more cardio to his workouts. Once the warmer weather hits, he will begin running outside a few days a week.

For Reynolds the Warrior Dash is “about having fun or so he thinks...”
“Given the competitive nature of my sons, wonder where they got that, Reynolds says,  “I’m guessing we’ll be pushing pretty hard.”

Stay tuned for Reynolds progress and results.

Wow! I wish I were in good enough shape to participate in the Warrior Dash. I'm not there yet...but I'm on my way! Good luck Tim!
