I've been a client at Fitness Together for 9 months. When I started I had many goals - to lose weight, to feel stronger, and to change my attitude about fitness. I was determined to see results, and I did.

Throughout my 9 months here, I worked with a various trainers, and they all have the same goals, your goals! I love that the trainers tailor a specific program for you - and they stick to it. Often times during my sessions, Jesse will remind me that when I first started, I was using a certain pound (much lower!) weight, or in metabolic workouts that my break/recovery periods were much longer than they are today. I appreciate this and it really motivates me to keep improving.

I recently told Jesse that I wanted to work on toning my arms (after seeing and being inspired by another female client of his whose arms were quite admirable!). We started my new program the following week and my arms transformed over the next 2 months before my eyes. I have never been more confident in my arms and my arm strength.

We also recently tested my body fat and I was amazed that my body fat % had dropped over 3%.* The results are real. I feel stronger every day and look forward to my workouts with Jesse!

I have been working out at Fitness Together in the South End for over a year and a half, it's been the most productive work-out time I have ever spent. I was always one of those join the gym and always make any excuse not to go kind of people - I decided if I wanted to get serious I needed to have a little more accountability so I started to research personal training. I found that Fitness Together was, for me, the most cost efficient place to try initially, little did I know that it would become one of the best decisions I've ever made. Jill, my trainer has become my best cheerleader, I was not in shape and while I'm still a work in progress, she has kept me on track. Having to be at the session at a certain time and being accountable for that time has made my workouts become regular and fun and something I look forward to as opposed to finding any excuse to not go. All the trainers are great and motivating - I would recommend FT to anyone who asks - they are the best!

For over three years, I was a member at a large chain sports club here in Boston. I would go and spend time doing cardio on a machine a few times a week. Sometimes I would even try to put together a weight routine for myself, but that would last maybe one or two sessions. And the overwhelming number of weight machines was too much for me to even contemplate an attempt at using them for a workout. Periodically a flyer would show up announcing a group class that sounded like it might be of interest to me. So, I would sign up and attend for the four week schedule. But, the next month, the schedule would change or the instructor would change, which provided the excuse I needed not to attend. That would leave me skipping the gym for weeks or even months at a time, all the while paying my monthly dues.

Finally, in January 2014, I was chatting with a friend who told me about the positive training experience he was having at Fitness Together South End, working with Jesse Kurisko. As it was the beginning of a new year, I made an appointment for a consultation visit with Jesse; the rest is history.

I have managed to drop 15 pounds of body weight, which is 75% of my weight-loss goal.* And, I can now fit into those shorts I purchased two years ago, which have been sitting on the closet shelf waiting for me to be able to wear them.

It essentially comes down to the fact that the Fitness Together philosophy of “One client, one trainer, one goal” is the sports club environment which works best for me. It has provided me with the motivation to keep working to reach my fitness goals and live a more healthy lifestyle. One of the most important things for me is that Jesse has the knowledge of the “how to...” and he provides the positive reinforcement for me to keep up a regular fitness regimen, both of which I lack on my own.

Additionally, helping me to evaluate and adjust my eating habits to assist in achieving my fitness goals is another area where the Fitness Together experience has been particularly helpful. While emphasizing the importance of the physical aspect of fitness, such as increasing my strength and improving my stamina, Jess is helping me realize the importance of diet within the grand scheme of a more healthy lifestyle and how it significantly contributes to reaching my fitness goals.

Seven months into this process, it’s been a particularly rewarding experience for me working with Jesse and the team at Fitness Together South End. Seeing such great personal results so far, for which I have Jesse to thank, keeps me returning each session. I appreciate the positive attitude and the “can do” work ethic that Jesse brings to each of my training sessions. I may even begin to enjoy my time at the “gym” if this keep up!

I never imagined I would have been training at FT for over three years... but it's absolutely true! Like so many things in life, you get what you give, but the trainers at FT are able to motivate the clients so we give a lot back in return. The structured exercise and fitness program at Fitness Together is truly second to none. The trainers are top notch, and in particular Jessie is an amazing trainer. He has a keen ability to understand his clients needs. Each client has an individual program, it is definitely not one size fits all at the Sound End fitness studio.

I have been training twice a week at Fitness Together and the benefits are wonderful. I have kept my weight off, lost some pounds and taken inches off my waist*. I feel better and more alive and definitely healthy now that I am fit and flexible. Friends have commented on how fit and healthy I look since I began my personal training. I particularly like that the trainers at Fitness Together are able to customize each session to the individual needs and particular goals of the client. This allows me to get the most out of each session.

This being said, I highly recommend Fitness Together. One cannot place a value on the investment in yourself as this is priceless. The time, energy and money spent at Fitness Tougher is definitely well worth it. You get what you put into it, but if you are willing to stick to your program, stay consistent by training at least twice a week, maintain a healthy diet and communicate with your trainer about your goals and expectations, you will be happy, fit, muscular and slim before you can say, "I love Fitness Together".*

I've had an overwhelmingly positive experience with Fitness Together South End. Bob, who owns the studio, is very well organized and attentive to clients' needs and suggestions. The trainers I've worked with closely (Jill and Charles) have been great motivators and teachers. Both have encouraged me to pay close attention to proper form and to push myself that little bit harder to meet my fitness goals. They create challenging workouts, but they also listen and take that extra bit of time when needed to introduce a new concept or fine-tune a routine. Everyone at Fitness Together creates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. My partner and I work out together as part of a small-group PACK, and it's always great to come to the studio and say hello or chat with trainers we don't regularly work with as well as other clients. I would wholeheartedly recommend Fitness Together South End to anyone seeking a friendly yet challenging and motivating space to pursue fitness goals.

Fitness Together has been a great way for me to stay motivated and active hen there are plenty of other demands on my time. The trainers keep it interesting and my fellow classmates in PACK classes make it fun!
