Chris has decreased his resting heart rate and blood pressure, decreased his body fat percentage, improved in all of his physical tests including doubling his plank hold time and wall sit! Lindsey has seen similar results and even doubled the amount of push-ups and sit-ups she can do!

Of course, we wanted to know more about these two and what joining FT has done for them. Here's what we asked:

Why did you get started with FT (if you can remember, haha)?

Lindsey: To move into the next phase of life stronger, with overall better health (bone density, posture, cardiovascular). I also wanted to try and model for my kids continued focus and commitment to health and well-being.

Chris: I needed a kick in the butt! I knew my overall health was going in the wrong direction. Gaining weight + low energy and low mood were my biggest red flags. I needed a schedule and I knew I needed people to help me be accountable to getting moving in the right direction.

What working out at FT has done for you (positive changes you've experienced)?

Lindsey: I feel stronger! I can also tell that when I experience back issues (been with me for years), my recovery is so much faster!!

Chris: For the first time in years, I’ve put health back into a daily part of my life because of FT. Consistency was always the hardest thing for me, but having regular sessions at Fitness Together helps me know I won’t slip too far away from the health goals I have.

What you love about FT?

Lindsey: The trainers. 100%. They are encouraging, motivating, positive and knowledgeable. I appreciate the variety of training styles and knowledge/experience each one of them brings to my sessions.

Chris: The trainers! They bring such passion to their work everyday and they are the boost I often need to stay consistent with my health journey. I wouldn’t see the progress I feel everyday without them.

Anything else you'd like everyone to know?

Lindsey: Chris and I feel grateful to be a part of the FT community. We have so much respect for this group - and are hopeful to continue to grow in this experience.

Chris: Joining FT was one of the best things that has happened to me this last 12 months. I hope to make fitness a core part of my life going forward. Thank you!
