Nick comes to us from Michigan where he trained clients in private studios, country clubs, homes, and businesses. Charming and dedicated, he joined Fitness Together in May 2007 after relocating to Nashville and is one of our lead trainers at the Brentwood Fitness Together. “I have assisted a wide variety of clients with their health and fitness goals including a heart transplant patient, hip replacement patients, adults with acute back and knee problems, and young athletes,” Nick says. “I love the way FT blends strength training, nutrition counseling, and cardio exercises. My passion is to help each client to recognize their true potential and to make every workout fun!” Nick is happily married to Hannah Shong and has two beautiful children. A daughter named Brooklyn and a son named Lincoln. Nick enjoys Competing in Spartan Races, basketball, cycling all over Williamson County, watching his Mazie & Blue on Saturdays and enjoying time with his family.  #GOBLUE #BIGTEN

I have been training for over six years now.  I have extensive experience and education in resistance training, cardiovascular endurance, and nutritional planning. I believe to be truly successful in reaching your goals you need to incorporate all three of these pillars of fitness into your program or you will always fall short. For many, this can be an extremely overwhelming task. Whether you are looking to change your body composition, increase your energy, or sleep better, having an expert fitness professional on your team to guide and coach you along can make all the difference!

I have applied this strategy to a variety of fitness levels with great success. From intense corporate boot-camps for Fortune 500 companies, to trained athletes with musculoskeletal impairments, to private one-on-one clients walking into a fitness facility for the very first time.I believe all you have been missing is someone to hold you accountable – someone to be that team member to push you outside your comfort zone.

I am a proud graduate from the University of Alabama, former professional chef, and I believe in three things when it comes to training;  Dead Lifts, Yoga, and Lots of coffee!  Also, I am an advocate for dogs and encourage all of you to adopt a dog from the shelters and you will have taken a great first step to losing those pesky pounds immediately!

Monica stared working at Fitness Together in 2006. Monica graduated from Western Michigan University in 2005 with a degree in Exercise Science. She received her Certification from the American College of Sports Medicine as an Exercise Physiologist.

Monica married her College sweetheart CJ in 2007 and they have three beautiful young children Q, Zoe and Wyatt.

Monica has always believed in living a healthy lifestyle and preventing health issues as we get older. She has always been committed to her clients for 12 years and thrives to be the Best Trainer and Health Coach she can be. "My clients trust me and have become family to me."

Casey Derhak has baseball in his blood. When he was just 10, the New Hampshire native's family moved to Florida so he and his brother could play the game year round. His love for America’s favorite pastime led him to the University of South Carolina-Aiken and a stint in the minors, but an arm injury ended his playing career. Casey returned to South Florida, earned his certification as a personal trainer, and joined his mother’s already established training company. Though he has worked with many athletes, Casey also specializes in senior fitness. His philosophy: "I just want people to feel good about themselves. I want them to wake up everyday and be energized." Casey has been with FT Nashville for 3 years and is known for his great motivational quotes and one liners.

I have 8 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. I have been training and helping clients achieve their goals for over 7 years. I come from a fitness background. I played college football for Austin Peay State University before transferring and completing my athletic career at Wake Forest. In addition, I wrestled two years for TEAM USA in the Greco-Roman style of wrestling. I graduated college with a degree in Exercise Science and within two months of graduating, I obtained my C.S.C.S. certification. 

I have experience in extreme resistance training, cardiovascular & endurance training, sport-specific training, and nutrition. I have trained elite professional athletes, U.S. Army Special Forces, Division 1 athletes, all the way to individuals who just want to shed a few pounds! I also have experience in rehabbing injuries while increasing strength and mobility during the recovery process. While being successful in the sport of powerlifitng (Bench 525lbs, Squat 854lbs, Deadlift 817.5lbs), I can help any individual who has goals of increasing strength, endurance, health level, or who has the desire to compete. Helping clients achieve their goals is what personal training is all about and I have a true passion for helping said clients make their dreams their realities.

I have never failed or quit on a client, Rome wasn't built in a day and neither is your body. Goals will not be achieved over night and do not expect them to be, put in the work and you will get good results back. I will put everything I have into transforming you from the old you into the new you! All I ask is that you give me that same effort in return, if you do, you will be surprised by what you achieve.

Aimee hails from New Jersey and has always had a passion for fitness. She began teaching group exercise and cycling classes over 10 years ago which led her to an education in Exercise Science and a career in personal training.  

Aimee brings experience in a variety of fitness training settings and age groups.  “I love to see how the body can be pushed and see clients reach their goals. Katelynn Stoll

Originally from Florida, Katelynn came to TN for college. She played softball for Cumberland University while earning a degree in Athletic Training with a minor in Strength and Conditioning. Still not satisfied, she went back for her Masters in Sports and Exercise Science. During her last year of her Master's she worked as a personal trainer in Mt. Juilet, TN. After this she worked with crossfit athletes and collegiate athletes.

Katelynn has been involved in a wide variety of fitness areas, from group training, to Crossfit, to individual strength and conditioning. She is able to apply her knowledge of sport rehabilitation and fitness to her workouts that can help you prevent injuries. Along with preventing injuries by keeping mobility a big part of the workout routine. Summarizing her passion for fitness, she says “I absolutely love seeing progress and how happy people are when they see results. It’s my passion to help others achieve their fitness goals and better themselves.”

Whitney has her ACSM-CPT and Bachelor's of Exercise Science from MTSU. Whitney has a sports background, playing volleyball, basketball, softball and running track. Whitney also has a viable experience with Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab, as well as, working with clients one-on-one in the Wellness Center improving their overall fitness levels through various exercise prescriptions. People are Whitney's passion, and helping them achieve their goals is high on her list of priorities. In her spare time, Whitney loves to do Crossfit and spend time with her 5-year old son Keller.
