• Women who exercised moderately to vigorously for 300 minutes a week lost more body fat than those who exercised less – and this could lower the risk of breast cancer significantly
• Exercise is linked to a reduced risk of cancers of the colon, breast, prostate, lung, pancreas, and lining of the uterus (endometrial cancer)
• Men who exercised intensely for 30 minutes a day had a 50 percent lower risk of dying prematurely from cancer
