Client of the Month: Traci Allen

A huge congratulations goes out to Traci Allen for being nominated our most recent Client of the Month at Fitness Together Silver Spring! Traci is always on time for her appointments and stays very dedicated to her workout schedule. Traci brings amazing energy to the studio and we are always thrilled to see her walk through the door!

Check out her story below!

Q: How long have you been with Fitness Together, and how often are you working out both inside and outside of the studio?

I've been with Fitness Together for just about a year. I come in to the studio twice/week and then do cardio another 2-3 days/week. Can't wait to start walking outside again now that the days are getting longer!

Q: What are the results you've seen so far?

I've definitely gained muscle! I can tell my endurance has really increased and I'm stronger as well. I've always been active, but working out consistently has just made me feel better.

Q: What can you attribute mostly to your success so far? What hurdles did you have to get over in order to succeed?

The key to my success has definitely been the one on one training with Chris and Erin. I tend to give up easily when working out on my own. I love how they know just how far to push me and how much I can handle. I need the accountability as well. One of the biggest hurdles to get over is the number on the scale. I'm learning to be happy with "non-scale" victories and realize I am gaining muscle.

Q: What are some of your goals with FT moving forward?

Chris and Erin have been great in listening to what I'm telling them and what I want to achieve! They've tweaked my workouts to increase my cardio for more calorie burning as opposed to focusing on only strength training with weights.

Q: Anything else you would like to share with others looking to hit their goals?

I've wasted plenty of gym memberships in the past. Fitness Together has really worked for me and everyone there has kept me motivated. I didn't feel that at any of the other gyms that I had joined. Not only are my trainers amazing (as are all the trainers there) but they are just kind people, even when they are in trainer mode, which makes for a great workout and a great atmosphere!
