Client of the Month - James Merrill

James, you're up next my friend! A huge shout out goes out to James for being nominated as our client of the month. Thank you for your hard work and giving it all during your workouts! Keep up the good work and the great progress will continue =)

Q: How long have you been with Fitness Together, and how often are you working out both inside and outside of the studio?

About 9 months. I work out three times a week at the studio and have recently begun to add cardio two to three days a week on my own.

Q: What are the results you've seen so far?

I’ve lost about 20 pounds so far, but the real improvement I’ve seen is in my strength, my endurance, and my flexibility. I’ve had to buy new (smaller!) clothes and I feel healthier and more athletic. I now actually look forward to physically demanding outdoor activities!

Q: What can you attribute mostly to your success so far? What hurdles did you have to get over in order to succeed?

Before starting with Fitness Together, I was embarrassed to work out because of how out of shape I had become. I now have confidence to go to the gym and work out without feeling self-conscious!

Q: What are some of your goals with FT moving forward?

Lose the pounds! I’ve had tremendous results so far and I want to continue to lose weight and gain strength!

Q: Anything else you would like to share with others looking to hit their goals?

Listen to your trainers and be honest with them! If you’re having problems getting motivated to work out or struggling with your diet, they can help. They make sure you are accountable, without being judgmental! Seriously, they’re the best!!
