Shout out to Fran for winning our Client of the Month nomination for November! Fran, you've come a long way and we're happy that we're along with you for the ride. Congratulations on your results so far and keep up the good work!
Q: How long have you been with Fitness Together, and how often are you working out both inside and outside of the studio?
I have been with Fitness Together since 15 July 2019 and working out regularly three days a week since 02 May 2019. I have continued my three days a week with Fitness Together while adding in 3-4 days of cardio a week since starting with the gym in July.
Q: What are the results you've seen so far?
Since May, I am down a total of 33 pounds. Since starting with Fitness Together in July, I have lost a total of 12 pounds. I have noticed an increase in muscle and a reduction in fat. I can lift heavier weights, hold planks longer and do more lunges then I ever imagined.
Q: What can you attribute mostly to your success so far? What hurdles did you have to get over in order to succeed?
Eating a healthy, more balanced diet has been a big part of my body transformation. By cutting out unhealthy foods and keeping alcohol intake to a minimum I have seen a dramatic change in the way I feel and how I look. When working with the trainers at Fitness Together they keep me motivated. By changing the routines every few weeks, I am not bored with the exercises that I am completing. They give that extra push to hold that plank for a few more seconds or getting in one more rep. They are constantly encouraging me.
My biggest hurdle was getting into the routine of doing cardio during the week. I have never been a fan of cardio.
Q: What are some of your goals with FT moving forward?
My goals moving forward are to be able to squat 150 pounds and to just look in the mirror and be happy with what I see. I want to continue building muscle and moving forward with my body transformation journey.
Q: Anything else you would like to share with others looking to hit their goals?
One of my life mottoes is from Finding Dory: "Just keeping swimming" You have to just keep pushing yourself. Just keep moving forward and don't give up. I didn't think I would ever be able to come as far as I have but I did it. It won't be easy, but if you set your mind to it any goal can be achieved.
