Mark has been in and around the fitness industry for the last 20 years, including regional manager positions for industry leading companies such as MET-Rx Sports Nutrition and Polar Heart Rate monitors.

After seven years training and managing fitness staff in health clubs, Fitness Together became the next step to refine the personal training business and deliver to clients’ results-based personal training.

A former endurance athlete with PR’s of a 2:41 marathon and 10:10 Ironman triathlon, Mark has competed in some of the most prestigious marathons and triathlons in the country.   His favorite events are the simple “make your own” variety of epic days – like a 42 mile run through the Grand Canyon or multi day bike rides in the middle of nowhere just for fun and adventure.

A Baltimore native, Mark lives in Timonium with his wife Kelly. They have a 5 year old daughter named Lindy, 2 spoiled Rottweilers, and 4 chickens.

Native to Scotland, Dave has been in the Sports Management field for 10 years now, working in variety of leadership and coaching roles. Dave carries a number of leading industry certifications, including Corrective Exercise Specialist through NASM and Sports Nutrition through Precision Nutrition. Driven by learning, and his passion for helping others, he is always seeking ways of improving his effectiveness as a leader, coach and mentor.

Dave is an avid soccer player/weekend warrior and loves to work out. Though his spare time is centered around his family, he tries to make additional time for a round of golf or an evening on the stream fly fishing.

Dave is proud to be a part of the health and fitness industry and will continue to do his utmost best to empower many more people to live happier, healthier lives.

Kelsey Franklin

Kelsey graduated from McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Journalism. She is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and is also studying to take the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) personal training exam this spring.

Specific areas of interest for Kelsey include strength and conditioning for young athletes and successful weight loss training. She has played basketball and volleyball for South Carroll High School where she won a Volleyball State Championship. Kelsey continued her basketball career at McDaniel College where they won the Conference Championship in 2010. She currently coaches volleyball at her alumna mater, South Carroll. Kelsey is very passionate about helping her clients reach their goals and giving them the ability to attain their full potential in a positive, well disciplined but enjoyable environment.

 

Kelsey believes “Don’t wish for it, work for it” and is very serious about her own physical fitness and health. She is always finding new ways to challenge herself further including running the Spartan 5 mile race in 2014. She believes her diversity in the fitness industry gives her the ability to adapt to any client and their needs, which in return ensures success and achievement from the start of the client’s program.

For Ryan, exercise and physical activity has always been part of my life. Whether it's working out at the gym, or going on a hike in the woods, Ryan knows and love the benefits of being healthy and active.

In October of 2014, he decided to study personal training at Anne Arundel Community College because he wanted to take his love of exercise and activity and share it with others so they can also come to know benefits of having a healthy lifestyle.

He is a Certified Personal Trainer through ACE and is excited to help people achieve their goals and be healthy. He currently lives in Catonsville with his wife and dog. When it's nice out, they often love to take their dog on hikes through the woods, and travel as often as they are able to. He looking forward to working with you to help you achieve your goals!

Shawn Lyons

Shawn is currently attending Towson University where he is working toward his Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science.  He has a personal training certification through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM-CPT) and Fitness Together is his starting point in the fitness industry.

Shawn started weight lifting when he was 14 years old, in addition he participated in his baseball and football high school athletic programs.  In 2015, he competed in an NPC physique competition.  Shawn is passionate about delivering the highest quality of training for not only himself, but most importantly, his clients. He believes the key to sustaining a career in the fitness industry is by gaining constant knowledge through various books, scientific research, and educational seminars all provided by industry professionals.

Shawn was born and raised in Frederick, he now lives in Sykesville with his girlfriend Ariana and their 1-and-a-half year old daughter Harper.  He is an avid sports fan with a particular interest in baseball.  His hobbies include going to Orioles games, learning more about the fitness industry, and playing with his beautiful daughter.

Andy Dolina

Andy was born and raised in Baltimore and attended Friends School, where he was co-captain of his varsity baseball and squash teams. After graduating from University of North Carolina in Asheville in 2014 with a degree in Political Science, Andy moved to New Orleans. It was there that he came to his senses and changed paths from pursuing law school to a career in health and fitness. 

Andy completed a rigorous internship at a health club in New Orleans before joining their team as a personal trainer. During this time, Andy was also brought on as a trainer at a CrossFit gym. This allowed him to explore multiple fitness methodologies and experiences. 

Andy takes pride in helping his clients achieve results while making exercise enjoyable and approachable. He loves guiding clients through fitness milestones they previously thought impossible. 

Andy lives in Hampden with his wife, Sarah, and their dog, Bo. In his free time, Andy enjoys getting out in nature, traveling, listening to records, and working out (duh!).

Nikki is originally from the South Jersey and Philadelphia area, she recently moved to Bel Air, MD with her boyfriend and their 2 dogs. She graduated from Drexal Universtiy with a Marketing degree and completed her NASM certification program.  She is looking to make an impact here at Fitness Together, by encouraging and inspiring our clients to live healthy lives.  


In 2012, Nikki has competed in a NPC competition, the Bikini Division. In her free time she enjoys hiking, traveling and attending baseball and football games. Currently she is enjoying exploring her new hometown Baltimore.

Makenzie’s passion for fitness developed early on when she was throwing shot-put and discuss her freshman-senior year of high school. She says what hooked her was being amazed of the strength process and how our bodies move. Since then, feeling strong and creating that strength has been something she strives for and truly wants to share with others.

 

Makenzie is currently enrolled at Bryan University in pursuit of her B.S. in Exercise Science and Professional Fitness Training and is always eager to learn something new. Outside of FT, Makenzie enjoys working on her own fitness goals as well as teaching cycling classes during her free time throughout the week. You can probably find her “attempting” a new recipe, but if that fails, she looks forward to going out for great food. On her down time, she listens to podcasts and likes to watch movies as well as documentaries.

 

One of Makenzie’s biggest accomplishment to date was earning her Strong First instructor title in kettlebells during a long, COLD, weekend in New York. She is excited to jump into this new journey and is most looking forward to empowering the community!
