Client of the Month - Sara S.

Congratulations to Sara S. for being our next Client of the Month! Sara is a returning past client that has been doing great since she's been back training with us. She started again with us after our re-opening this January. Sara continues to show up every week to work on her strength building goals. Since returning for her training, Sara has increased weight on her dead-lifts and back-squats by 50 pounds and bench press by 40 pounds!

Hear more about Sara's story below:

Q: How long have you been with Fitness Together, and how often are you working out both inside and outside of the studio?

I have been with Fitness Together since 2007 starting in Ohio and then moving this studio in Maryland when I moved after getting married. Since January, I have been working out in the studio three times a week and try to add to that with walks or other movements one to two times a week outside of the studio.

Q: What are some of the results you've seen so far?

Due to life situations, I did not workout with the barbell for close to 10 months. I am seeing returns on my strength in response to being consistent in the studio. My weights usually go up once a week for one or more movements.

Q: What can you attribute mostly to your success so far? What hurdles did you have to get over in order to succeed?

Consistency has been the reason for the success so far. Even when I have off days and need to modify the amount of weight or even the movement, I am still giving it my all every time I am in the studio. I have had to regularly reschedule my sessions due to surprise client calls that change/challenge my schedule. I will move my workouts to accommodate those changes and the team has been willing to help me to reschedule whenever needed.

Q: What are some of your goals with FT moving forward?

My goal is always to get stronger. I want to be able to stay moving and gain more muscle for the long term. And as always, try to avoid any family/hereditary health issues that may be just around the corner if I am not careful.

Q: Anything else you would like to share with others looking to hit their goals?

Life happens and can derail at times but make sure that you are taking care of you and looking at your goals and taking those steps to move forward. It is hard but the team is always willing to listen and help you move forward.
