This is the time of year when the sneakers are put away and the excuses come out! These "excuses" will keep us from reaching our goals. In the moment, we feel the warmth of our sweat pants and snuggle up on the couch with a hot cup of hot chocolate. Then before you know it, the snow has melted, the sun shines and we are trying to pull our shorts over the top of a bigger waist line.
Now is the time to make sure that you do not become a "Weather Weenie"!!!!! Put on your cold weather gear and get outside for a nice walk, run or bike ride around Centennial Lake or Patapsco Park. We wake up each day with good intentions to make ourselves better by being healthier through exercise and good nutrition. Stay on point during the cold months and do not hibernate! Once you have taken the first steps, use the momentum to continue to take the steps that will be the catalyst for meeting your goals.
