Julie started with Fitness Together in December of 2023 and after seeing amazing results, her husband, Tom, just had to join the fun!

We believe it's true that when couples exercise together, they become closer and more supportive of one another. This can't be more true for this this dynamic duo that each does one 1-on-1 session per week plus 2 partner sessions per week.

We wanted to find out more about these guys so we asked them some questions...

Why did you get started with FT?

Julie: I was referred by my doctor who is also a client at FT, because I needed to lose weight and decrease pain in my knees and back.

Tom: Julie spoke so highly of the program and the trainers so I joined her for a session during buddy week. I loved it so much, I decided to keep coming back on a regular basis!

What positive changes have you experienced since starting your program?

Julie: I've lost weight so I can see my muscles coming through, I've improved my core strength and balance, and my knees and low back feel better. I also feel much stronger!

Tom: I've seen improvements in muscle size and definition and my knees feel much better!

What do you love about FT?

Julie: The training staff is incredibly knowledgeable, patient and kind with a wonderful, positive attitude. It is a joy to train at FT. I look forward to every single session!

Tom: I love the positive attitude that everyone has. It's refreshing!

Is there anything else that you'd like everyone to know?

Julie: I have had many different gym memberships over the last 25 years. FT is nothing like any of them. Training at FT is a conscious, personal investment in myself, led by people who genuinely care about my goals, my fitness and my health.

Tom: I was recently on a family trip in Europe. We had 5 minutes to make a train with all our luggage and we had to get up two long flights of stairs. I said to myself, this is what we’ve been training for - Farmer’s Carry meets Step Ups! I grabbed the 2 fifty pound bags and 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4,… hauled them right to the top. It felt really great taking it from the gym into the real world!

Y'all are an inspiration that you CAN become fit, lose weight, increase muscle tone and decrease pain at any age. We are so proud of you two. Keep it guys!!
