Grand Opening - Fitness Together of Solon

Sep 24, 2009

SOLON (September 24, 2009) – Fitness Together Solon is now open for business. The world’s largest personal training franchise is expanding in Ohio. Jonathan Slain, Michael Hall and Brad Newcomb, three local entrepreneurs, and brothers-in-law, have opened their third Fitness Together business at 6025 Kruse Dr., where every single customer will receive one-on-one instruction with a personal trainer.

Fitness Together provides its clients with quality, private, one-on-one, personal fitness training with the philosophy, “One client, One trainer, One goal.” And what is truly unique and comforting about Fitness Together is that it feels more like going to the spa than the gym. Individuals make appointments to visit with personal trainers which holds them accountable. And, rather than buying a membership or signing a contract, clients build their own package of individual sessions.

Fitness Together’s one-on-one training program offers a safe, effective way to help women and men achieve their fitness goals in a friendly, non-threatening atmosphere. The private training rooms, individualized programs, and motivating atmosphere set Fitness Together apart from other gyms. Another key benefit, working one-on-one puts an emphasis on proper technique and decreases the risk of injury. In addition, clients are offered the benefits of personalized nutrition programs and fitness assessments.

Fitness Together is located at 6025 Kruse Drive in the old Liberty Bank space in Uptown Solon Shopping Center near Borders Books and The Rusty Bucket restaurant. The two room studio, where clients will be trained one-on-one by certified personal trainers, includes a cardio room with state of the art equipment.

Slain, Hall, and Newcomb opened their first Fitness Together studio in Hudson, Ohio in March of 2007 and have enjoyed a warm welcome from the Hudson community. In November 2007, the brothers-in-law decided on a second location in Chagrin Falls because they grew up near the community and believed it lacked a personal fitness solution.

“Earlier this year, we realized we were booked solid during the busiest times of the day in our current locations,” said Newcomb. “It was natural for us to expand our operations to Solon, which is a community that is obviously interested in new fitness options.”

“We like the feel of Solon and always have since we grew up right around the corner in Shaker Heights. The community is just as excited about our concept as we are,” co-owner Jonathan Slain stated. “We have already signed up several new clients, so call us soon, 877-FIT-OHIO (877-348-6446), if you are interested in one of our early morning time slots! They are going fast!”

Schedule a complimentary fit evaluation so we can get to know you and your goals and build you a customized training program to reach them.
