Personal Trainer/ Manager
Kristen is currently the manager of Fitness Together in Yukon, as well a one of their great Personal Trainers currently on staff. Kristen has a background in health, wellness, nutrition and fitness. Kristen finds health and nutrition fascinating and believes that what ails most of us can be alleviated through a truly healthy diet that eliminates processed foods, limits grains, and added sugars. She believes the second most important component to staying healthy and maintaining longevity and youthfulness is by remaining as active as possible. Kristen’s greatest joy as a trainer for Fitness Together in Yukon is when newer clients exclaim how everyday activities such as getting off the floor, climbing stairs, or carrying groceries no long a struggle for them. According to Kristen her job is not just about getting her clients down to a certain scale weight or pant size for the sake of vanity, but to make them truly healthy so they can have best quality of life possible.
Josh graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in English Education. He currently holds teaching certifications in English for 6th-12th grade and physical education, health, and safety for grades K-12. In August of 2012 he graduated with his Masters of Science in Athletic Administration. Josh’s love for athletics comes from an early age where he was involved in several different sports that continually evolved and changed eventually leading him into weight training. Josh is also heavily involved in Scottish Highland Game competitions and is one of the organizers of the Iron Thistle Games that takes place here in Yukon every spring. He has also taken part in and won at least one physique competition, therefore Josh is very aware of the dedication, hard-work, and coaching that is required to achieve optimal nutritional and physical health for his clients at Fitness Together.
Chance is originally from Rockwall, Texas. He grew up with a passion for sports and weight lifting. Chance played high school football, baseball and was a power lifter. In 2008 Chance moved to Oklahoma City when he earned a football scholarship to Southern Nazarene University. His final season was in the fall of 2011, and in December of 2012 he graduated with a degree in Sports Marketing and Management. Chance played offensive line and when finishing his career began a weight loss journey of his own. He ended his football career weighing over 300 pounds, and through hard work sits just under 220 today. Chance has been with Fitness Together for just over a year now and also currently coach’s varsity football at Deer Creek High School.
Mitch is originally from Blackwell, OK where he played football, basketball, and track through high school. He earned a scholarship to Southern Nazarene to play football. After a year he decided to transfer to Oklahoma State University. He graduated with a degree in Health Education and Promotion with an exercise science option. Mitch has been very passionate about working out and living a healthy lifestyle even before high school. He knew this is what career path he wanted to follow and help others achieve their goals and dreams.
Travis’s primary reason for becoming a Personal Trainer was to be able to give back to others in a way that he knew he could truly be of service and make an impact in their lives. Travis believes that one of the most important aspects of our lives is our health, and he sees that being overlooked by most people. Helping an individual reach their goals no matter how big or small is a very rewarding to Travis. He has attended Southern Nazarene University and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and in 2009 was the recipient of an All Academic Honors. Travis is a two sport collegiate athlete with 4 years of Football achieving All Conference in 2010, as well as 4 years of Track and Field, holding the school records Shot Put and the Hammer Throw. Travis is originally from the small town of Okemah in eastern Oklahoma, which is also the home of song writer Woody Guthrie.
