I've got just about a month to kick 10 pounds. I'm going to get there. Now let me say this, the fact that I've been able to get in the best shape since high school is remarkable. Between watching my kids all day (my one year old is screaming at me right now), traveling all over the country and overcoming most of my fat causing habits i'm really stunned and proud. Most...

It's amazing to be back at Fitness Together. Life's easier when you have a support network and you're back in the workout flow. I'm stronger from head to toe. Make no mistake that makes chasing kids, playing raquetball, playing golf, running around the track and just everday life easier. When I started I could only pull off 24 pushups in a row. Now I'm to 40. My 5k...

1. Inchworm: Stand up tall with the legs straight, let those fingertips hit the floor. Keeping the legs straight (but not locked!), slowly lower the torso toward the floor, and then walk the hands forward. Once in a push-up position, start taking tiny steps so the feet meet the hands.2. Tuck Jump: Standing with the knees slightly bent, jump up as high as possible ...

Many Times Travel can interupt workouts and eating, but it doesn't have to. Here is a workout that can be done in a hotel room with your body weight. Use a timer and see how long it takes to complete each round. Geoff will post his time today from his workout in El Paso. I'm in the middle of week 2 at Fitness Together South Tulsa. I've already seen and felt results from just four workout sessions with Aaron and Rodney. I'm not going to focus on that as much today though. The main thing I've felt is the return of my sanity. I watch my two kids every day. My four and one year old kiddos run me ragged. At the end of the day sometimes it feels...

Without question, the best workout experience of my life was five years ago with Aaron Henson at Fitness Together. I started at 252 and quickly worked my way to 234. My strength, at the time, was the best it's ever been. My stamina, although not quite as good as high school, certainly was the best it has been since. Henson and the training staff were incredible....

MAN I'M EXCITED! I'm at 219 pounds (started at 240) my goal is 215 by March 15th. It is in reach. This is the best I've looked since I was a kid (a long, long time ago). I knew weight loss and fit gain would bring a bounty of positives into my life. I completely underestimated how much my self confidence would explode. I wake up happy because I feel good and like the way...

Well we've really got it going now folks. Getting better is an understatement. When I started over two months ago, I could do 24 pushups. That number is now 50. My first 5k time was over 38, my last one was 29 minutes. I've lost 11 pounds (keep in mind I've stacked on quite a bit of muscle weight). My goal is to get to 215, I'm 15 pounds away. What I'm going...
