I was the person who made a resolution every year to get into better shape. I lacked the discipline to exercise regularly. I was also missing the knowledge and creativity to mix up my workout to keep me interested and challenged. An injury to my shoulder slowed me down further from fear of hurting it even more. I joined Fitness Together 1 year ago when I admitted I needed help reaching my fitness goals and to strengthen my shoulder. The one on one training has been a great help to me. By making an appointment to workout, exercise becomes a priority. My trainer, Andrew, encourages and supports me while holding me accountable for my activities both during and away from my workout. Each workout is unique and challenging and keeps me interested and motivated. Andrew pushes my harder than I push myself and always encourages me to give that extra effort, even when I am ready to give up. I am thrilled with my increased strength and stamina and my injured shoulder is stronger than ever.
I have had a great experience at Fitness Together and look forward to many more years working with them to achieve my fitness goals. I would recommend Fitness Together to anyone. Regardless of your goals or fitness level, they will develop a challenging workout program just for you. Like me, you can achieve more than you ever imagined.
"The team at Fitness Together is really wonderful and so good at what they do. I definitely feel much stronger after only a few months and it's motivating to be making steady progress.
I've worked with many fitness trainers throughout the years so I can tell if they truly know what they're doing and if they're committed to me - all too often I've gotten the trainer who is more interested in texting than watching my form. It's clearly evident the FTCS trainers are highly qualified, committed and genuinely want to positively influence my journey towards fitness.
Another reason why I chose Fitness Together rather than going to a gym is because the facility itself is new, incredibly clean, organized and the equipment is well maintained. As silly as it might sound, I really appreciate the fact that it doesn't smell like a gym! I can tell that Sandy takes the business very seriously and has a lot of pride as its owner. I also appreciate the fact that she's also a client - sweating along side the rest of us and taking the time to get to know me. Fitness Together Chester Springs is truly the ideal situation for me. I couldn't have hoped for a better solution and plan to be a part of their "family" for as long as I can. I would highly recommend Fitness Together to anyone who is intimidated by the typical gym atmosphere, who doesn't have the discipline (like me!) to workout alone or who works out but isn't seeing results."
Two things I enjoy doing are playing golf and bowling. As I got older, I found that it was getting difficult for me to do these things without suffering aches and pains during and after the activity. I tried joining a gym/fitness center to improve my overall conditioning and work on my flexibility. I found that I lacked the discipline to consistently use the facilities and meet the goals I had set for myself. I started coming to Fitness Together because the concept of one client/one trainer/one goal made sense to me. The fitness program that was structured for me took into account what I wanted to accomplish as well as the physical limitations I have developed over the years. The success I’ve enjoyed over the past several months has allowed me to play golf and bowl at improved levels.
An added benefit has come from the Nutrition Together program. Understanding the effect of portion size and food choices on my overall health has helped me lose weight and, in combination with a well-designed fitness program, has helped reduce my cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
I’m very pleased with my experience at Fitness Together. The FT personnel really know their stuff and know how to apply that knowledge to help me reach my fitness goals. I look forward to continued improvement in my performance and fitness levels training at Fitness Together.

"Three years ago I came face to face with how much weight I have gained and decided to do something about it. At first I joined a national chain gym and got a personal trainer but after a short time I decided I wanted something more tailored to my needs and more personal. So I began searching for a different kind of fitness center and that's when I discovered Fitness Together. Immediately I was impressed with the personal trainers. It was like they knew exactly how hard to push me, something that was missing at the gym. I also liked the smaller sized areas. "I started really putting on weight after college and found myself feeling lethargic, stressed out, and having no time for fitness with my increasingly hectic work schedule. I also began to get migraines. After visiting the doctor, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, a condition in which my thyroid is underactive. This explained my overall fatigue and my rapid weight gain of 30 pounds. But even after I was able to control my condition with medication, I still couldn't get the weight off. Attempts at doing activities on my own, such as yoga, taking walks or even doing my own workouts, just wouldn't put a dent in my weight. Then I had my son, and I put on even more pounds! Working with a personal trainer is shaping not only my body, but also how I live - what I choose to eat, the clothes I buy, and even how I spend my time. Fitness Together has helped most with overall body strength. I feel better throughout my day. I have better posture and energy and my aches and pains I used to experience are gone.
I have most improved my flexibility and upper body strength. I have always worked on my lower body and core avoiding my arms out of fear I would get bulky. I was wrong. I'm not getting bulky only toned and cut. It feels great!

"Fitness Together Chester Springs (i.e. Trainer Andrew's encouragement) has helped me to increase my stamina and has increased my desire to work harder on things - particularly working harder on increasing my commitment to adding aerobic exercise to my routine. I feel stronger in general. I had been worried about loss of flexibility and things like bone loss. I feel that now I am at least doing something pro-active for myself and I am doing it with the expertise of someone like Andrew rather than trying to figure it out myself.
This is the first year in many years that I have not had to deal with chronic back and knee pain. I give Fitness Together 100% credit for this. Being out of pain gives me an overall feeling of well-being. I also see improvement in my flexibility.
