Liane came to FT in August of last year with her head held high and her fitness goals held even higher. Liane has always been lauded for making a decision and then sticking with that decision until the job is finished. She walked in through the front door with the goal of losing weight and getting her life on track....she has done both and hasn't had one complaint throughout the journey. Read below to see what she has to say about her experience!
"I came to Fitness Together in August 2015 as school was starting up for the new year. I tend to use the academic calendar as motivation rather than January 1. I had come to the decision that it was time to take care of myself and lose this weight once and for all. Joy Barber has been my inspiration throughout the previous school year so I gave her a call to find out how she had been so successful at losing weight. From the moment I walked in to Fitness Together I knew I was in the right place.
My goal is to be at my ideal weight when the school year ends. I have lost 35 pounds since I began working out. Because I have set my sights on reaching this, I know that getting to my 3 sessions a week has to be part of the plan. Having that commitment has also helped me stay on track with my eating. I work too hard at FT to blow it on eating foods that won’t help me reach my goal. I am very determined to start summer off being fit and I am on track to make that that happen. I am even more determined to stay that way the rest of my life!"
