How Much Protien should i eat?

One of the most often asked question in the fitness realm today is, “how much protein should i eat?” Well, good for you is that we have a short compact answer. Almost all people can get the protein they need from whole foods and drinks in their daily diet. The recommended daily intake of protein for healthy adults is 0.75 g of protein per kilogram of body weight, or about 45 to 56 g of protein a day. So for instance, if you are a female that weighs 140lbs, you would take 140 divide that by 2.2 (2.2lbs=1kilogram) and then multiply by .75. The number of 48 is the amount of grams of protein per day that is sufficient for daily energy. Those persons who are active than the norm should be consuming closer to 1.2-1.4 grams of protein per day! Remember, that 95% of Americans can get efficient amounts of protein per day from eating a normal healthy diet. Don’t struggle to make protein a big basis of your diet, rather make your diet a big basis of your life! Remember get out and MOVE!
