You have begun your workout now, great! However, you just aren’t seeing that fat lost you hoped for. Significant research has shown that metabolic training burns more calories during your training session and it can keep your metabolism burning fat for more than 24 hours after you finish exercising. With even more University research, metabolic resistance training has found to burn the same number of calories as aerobic training, but metabolic resistance training has the ability to burn more of our fat stores than aerobic. Add that to the fact that research from the Human Performance Center at Anderson University found that working at a fast, explosive pace (as you do with metabolic resistance training), melts almost twice as many calories as slow traditional means of doing resistance training. Though this type of training is intense, it can be adjusted to pretty quick and can be a great way of introducing a new training method that might help you reach your fat loss goals.
