What was your reason for starting at Fitness Together?

I wanted to improve my fitness with a group that I thought would be effective, while taking into account my age (mid 60s, male) and physical limitations (shoulder and elbow injuries). The staff at Belmont fitness appeared well-qualified, and I was willing to travel from a nearby town to work with them.

What has Fitness Together helped you with most?

I’ve had a great experience with Belmont Fitness Together. In the approximate five months that I’ve been working with them, my strength, balance, and flexibility have all substantially improved. It’s been a much more holistic and more effective experience than I’ve had with self-directed exercise. Clearly, putting in the work is up to the individual. But, I’m impressed with their ability to harness and direct that willingness.

How do you think you have most improved since working with Fitness Together?

Substantial increases in arm, core, and leg strength, and static and dynamic balance. Flexibility is improving as well.

What do you like the most about the staff or atmosphere?

Very friendly and supportive staff and strong engagement with a wide array of clients.

Do you have any funny or inspiring tales of Fitness Together antics?

This is a group that seriously likes its snacks! I often come in to find them with donuts or other treats that they share amongst themselves, which I consider a healthy sign. A group that feeds each other, in my experience usually works well together.
