Kathy Ferguson
Kathy Ferguson

Kathy Ferguson

Personal Trainer

Kathy was certified by the American College of Sports Medicine in 2013, but has been an athlete since her first dance class at age three.  After 12 years of working in non-profits, she retired the desk life because she just had too much energy to stay seated, and became a fitness coach.  She believes that exercise should be as fun as possible, building confidence along with muscle, and always designed with an understanding of each body’s history.  She enjoys working with people from a wide variety of fitness backgrounds, and particularly loves making people feel comfortable with their workouts (believe it or not, she used to be the last one picked in gym class as a kid – no more!)

Kathy believes in the importance of having a coach for education and accountability, as well as cementing your gains with great nutrition, a healthy work-life balance, and plenty of sleep.

Alla Nemchenok
Alla Nemchenok

Alla Nemchenok

Personal Trainer

Alla has always been fascinated by the idea of metamorphosis - the ugly duckling becoming a swan, the butterfly emerging out of the cocoon.  When in a welding class in college a mentor told her "If you can conceive it you can create it".  This phrase has shaped her path since.  While completing her MFA at the School of Visual Arts Alla began experimenting with her body as sculptural material further exploring the relationship between form and function.  This had paved her way into the fitness industry.  She has since worked with people from various backgrounds with polar interests from high school athletes, fitness competitors, new moms, stroke and cancer survivors, people making their way toward recovery from injury and, of course those just working on getting fit.  To Alla the concept of fitness is not only incredibly personal but also 100% mental.  Your body won't go where the mind won't push it.  Alla believes her function is to act as a GPS, helping each client set a destination or goal and then guide toward the set point.

Relevant Interests
Alla enjoys running, aesthetic lifting, olympic lifting as well as functional training.

Meg Julian

Personal Trainer

Meg has been a personal trainer and strength coach since 2010. She enjoys breaking down the complex and confusing fitness world into simple (read: not easy) and effective workouts. She has an obnoxious amount of certifications and is happy to talk your ear off about them if you'll let her.
