As a Fitness Together® Personal Trainer, you will...

  • Design safe and effective fitness programs, accommodating the unique needs and goals of each Fitness Together® client, including adapting programs when clients travel or participate in their sessions virtually
  • Educate and empower clients with a clear understanding of their fitness program, so that they are motivated to stay committed to their plan outside the studio
  • Conduct both in-studio and Live, 1-on-1 Virtual Personal Training sessions with clients
  • Bring a positive attitude and show regular appreciation to clients and team members every day
  • Create unique, memorable and personal experiences for clients that make Fitness Together® customers clients for life
  • Interact with clients and team members without judgment, and express empathy for those around you

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred
  • National Certification required
  • One year of personal training and program design experience
  • Extensive understanding of injury prevention/management
  • Experience & success working with special populations
  • CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
  • Ability to collaborate and thrive in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt quickly to each client’s individual needs
  • Must have the emotional stamina to be “at your best” with each client
  • Ability to motivate and coach clients, in order to ensure continuous commitment
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols for the studio

Fitness Manager - Regional | Fitness Together

The Regional Fitness Manager is responsible for managing one studio and acts as a mentor and coach to other Studio Managers. This involves leading regular managers meetings, and holding managers accountable to the established goals for their respective studios while coaching them through the challenges that arise in studio operations.

As a Regional Fitness Manager, you will...

Manage People

  • Align self and others with the philosophies and culture of the brand
  • Provide strong leadership and foster a positive working environment throughout each studio. Ensure the team is acting as a cohesive unit rather than individuals
  • Develop and execute an ongoing recruiting strategy
  • Plan, organize and execute team meetings
  • Meet one-on-one with each studio manager on a weekly basis to focus on personal and professional goal setting, accountability, and recognition.
  • Provide clear and consistent communication to the team; stay current on news and new programs and operational updates communicated from the Support Center
  • Assess planning skills for Studio Managers and coach as needed
  • Continuously reward, recognize and motivate managers
  • Develop special employee incentives/contests

Ensure an Excellent Client Experience

  • Coach Studio Managers on the fundamentals of operations and how to train their teams to execute at all times
  • Develop client retention and client appreciation strategies and coach team to implement
  • Coach Studio Managers to ensure facility maintenance, cleanliness, and safety

Execute Managerial Duties

  • Develop the studios’ annual operating plan and monthly business plans
  • Ensure that the studio is in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as franchise operating systems and standards
  • Conduct studio business reviews with each Studio Manager on a monthly basis
  • Proactively seek revenue opportunities within the Fitness Together® brand that ensure the long-term financial success of the studio
  • Troubleshoot P&L issues and find solutions
  • Analyze/respond to sales trends and situations
  • Review standardized chart of accounts

Execute Studio Marketing

  • Monitor in-studio promotions/Local Studio Marketing (LSM)
  • Attend networking events and establish relationships with local businesses
  • Identify and participate in community events and initiatives

Position Requirements:

  • 2-5 years multi-unit business management and supervisory experience preferably in a fitness facility or similar environment
  • 2 years P&L accountability a plus
  • 2-5 years’ experience managing and leading teams
  • Excellent planning and time management skills
  • Solid written and strong verbal communication skills including delivery of group presentations
  • Ability to motivate and influence a group into action, delegate tasks and direct and lead that group
  • Advanced computer literacy - MS Office, email, and internet
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions (written and verbal)
  • Ability to remain flexible in a constantly changing environment
  • Personal Training experience or knowledge a plus
