Get Back on Track!

Thanksgiving has passed and Christmas will be here before you know it, if there is anytime to crank up your workouts and or add an extra day now is the time to do it! Why wait till after the New Year to start focusing on your fitness goals when you can achieve them now and still enjoy the holidays? Go ahead and add that extra day on to your fitness schedule or if you can’t do that maybe add 10-15 minutes to each of your workouts to push yourself that much harder.

The biggest challenge at this point every year is avoiding foods that we know are not healthy for us. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, and New years are all packed into a little over two months, that’s a lot of time spent with family and friends which means lots of sugary and fattening comfort based foods, not to mention the alcohol. It is ok to indulge in these foods and enjoy time with family and friends during the holidays just make sure that the foods you are eating during the holidays don’t become part of your everyday diet! Think before you eat and plan ahead. One of the biggest ways to avoid the tendency to continue bad eating habits during the holidays is to make sure everything in your house is healthy for you and to watch your portion sizes.

Schedule a complimentary fit evaluation so we can get to know you and your goals and build you a customized training program to reach them.
