The Myth of Lifting Heavy

Sep 27, 2013

Contrary to popular belief, lifting heavy weight does not make you gain bulk and muscle by default. In fact…diet does.

In order to build muscle you need to provide your body with the right ingredients to make it. Working out tears muscle fiber, while proper nutrition and sleep help build it the fibers back up to be bigger and stronger.

If you’re not as big or if you’re bigger than you want to be, then don’t place the blame on how much your lifting, but rather how much you’re eating.
