If you’re already unhappy about your appearance, finding the right motivation to get in shape can be difficult. But, a little change of perspective can help you find the encouragement you need.
Regardless of how you feel about your appearance, you probably have at least one part of your body that you feel good about. Use that to your advantage by focusing a portion of your workouts on further developing your favorite assets.
Concentrating on a part of your body that already inspires confidence can help you stick to your fitness plan. If you’re particularly proud of your calves, for instance, spend some extra time on those machines that will really make them pop, and pay close attention to the results. Show off the results of your hard work, and enjoy any compliments that come your way. Feeling good about your progress will make it easy to stay on target.
