Busy is Better

Many of us prefer hitting the gym during off hours because there are simply fewer people around. Sometimes, it’s just easier to knock out a solid session when you’re mostly alone. However, studies show that working out during peak hours may be much better for your body.
Working out in a mostly empty gym is a little more relaxing, and it often feels like it’s easier to focus on getting the job done. Crowded gyms, on the other hand, force us to stay focused and power through our workouts quickly. More importantly, all of those extra eyeballs actually encourage us to work a little harder than we might normally – even on a subconscious level.
We don’t want to look lazy or unfit with so many super-fit people nearby, and those feelings can help us work much harder.
