    Jonathan,

    Raving Fan!

    Some detail on my thoughts....

Love the system at FT. Arrive early to warm up, work with several trainers, apply nutrition/eating routines thru Lisa sessions weaved in between workouts.  Works for me!

I feel my time at the studio is never wasted.

I am pushed to do the most I can with good form. Or sometimes the most I can.

Your trainers are excellent. They are knowledgeable, experienced, approachable, and fun.

I work mainly with Chad and Evan.  As an owner of a business, I want you to know that their attitude and work ethic toward me is outstanding.

Key for you as a business owner....The communication seems to be really strong between all the trainers.  Evan leaves notes for Chad for my next work out, and Chad respects Evan's wishes, for example.  So, there is no confusion or time wasted for me.  All the trainers talk to each other, reciprocate Starbucks runs, and make a harmonious atmosphere. I am very comfortable in this boutique setting.  I trust your trainers.

I think it's more art than science running a successful business sometimes.  Cheers to your accomplishments!   Keep it going....love , peace and ....more clients:)

Excellent! Trainers are able to adjust the training to whatever aches, pains or problems I have, but I feel that I am always pushed to do my best.

  • John

I have been coming to FT for about 6 months. The experience has been fantastic as it combines a disciplined workout with great trainers. It forces me to stay on a regimen and work toward an aggressive goal. I would recommend FT for any person that has a goal of getting in best shape of their life and maintaining that success for the long-run.*

  • Susan W.

So far, so good!! Newly back on board after a fitness "vacation". Feels good to be "pushed" Especially like it when trainers "change it up" after two routines, so you don't know what's coming!! Great facility and the three "C's" keep it interesting!!

    After

    Cortnie R.

Being overweight has been a struggle my entire life. Sticking to any sort of eating / fitness routine was impossible. I would try things for a week or two - and then give up. During the summer of 2015, I began to realize how lazy I had become. Here I was at just 35 years old - and I had ZERO energy or motivation to do anything but lay on the couch and watch TV and eat. I would watch an hour long show and realize at the end that I had consumed an entire bag of potato chips. I knew I was gaining, but being an emotional eater, I would eat to make myself feel better about it!!! It was a vicious circle and I became very depressed. I felt so terrible about myself.

Suddenly I hopped on the scale and topped out at the heaviest I have ever been in my life, 210 lbs. My eyes almost popped out of my head. I knew I had to change.

I did so much research online - everything that I looked into was either way too expensive or looked way too intimidating. I signed up for a different program, and after class I would be doubled over throwing up because I was so out of shape. I felt awful. And before I knew it, I was back on the couch doing nothing and feeling terrible about myself, AND NOW intimidated about going back to the gym!

After getting engaged in December 2015, I decided I really HAD to do something. I didn't want to hate my wedding pictures and look back and wish I could have changed anything. Back online I went, and I discovered Fitness Together. I went in and talked with the owner, Michael Hall, first. I thought for sure I was going to get another one of those "gym speeches" and pressured into signing up. So I was definitely on guard. But Michael made me feel so at ease, and NEVER once pressured me into coming in. He encouraged me, motivated me, and gave me as many options as he possibly could, but left the decision up to me. Told me to go home and think about it. Said he would follow up in a day. No pressure.

The other thing I loved was the studio set-up. It's really, truly a ONE ON ONE training session! You work out in your own little room with just your trainer. That immediately relieved my fear of looking like an idiot when working out, or that feeling that everyone is staring at you.  So I decided to go ahead and give it a try. What was the harm?

I signed up for the early shift. If I didn't get it over with first thing, I knew I would never stick to it. So that first morning my alarm went off, my immediate thought was "what have I signed up for?!?!" But I got up, and went.  Complained the entire time and then some. I was NOT a happy camper. I could barely hold a plank and would be out of breath from lifting 8lb dumbbells. I'll be honest - I wanted to quit. I would be so sore I could barely walk. Knowing that I had someone waiting for me at the gym kept me going - if they were going to get up that early, I could do it too. Little by little, I started feeling stronger. I noticed my clothes were fitting different. I found myself waking up a little faster. I had so much energy. I would actually smile when I walked into the studio. This working out stuff wasn't so bad and it was making a HUGE impact on my life in so many ways.

I developed such great relationships with ALL of the trainers, but really grew to love Shannon and Jen. It's like working out with a friend. They know how to motivate me. They know when I complain "I can't do it" that I really CAN do it and they push me and help me reach my goals. When I'm sprinting in the parking lot about to die, Shannon is right there running next to me.

Not only have there been AMAZING physical changes (I have gone from a size

16 to a size 8!), but my strength is the best it's ever been. Now I can hold a real plank for over a minute and bench over 80lbs. I can do sit ups without using much more than my ab muscles. (AB MUSCLES! I HAVE THEM!) I FEEL like a completely different person. When I look in the mirror, I don't see that sad, overweight person anymore...and I don't miss her one bit. :)

  • Janet L.

I have enjoyed all aspects of my experience at the Chagrin Falls location. I like the one to one experience and the cleanliness of the facility. Thanks to all.

The FT team provides challenging sessions, with a variety that doesn't cause boredom or repetition to set in. Very pleased with the FT experience and the qualified and very capable trainers.

  • Jim

Positive. I like the fact that there is a different trainer each session and all trainer s are well prepared. I shutter to think what I would look and feel like if I did not work out at FT!

    Certified Personal Trainer

Hello, my Name is Coty Yandell. As a former Varsity athlete I learned early on about the importance of keeping a body in great physical condition not only for sport performance but for everyday activities.

My passion for fitness led me to pursue Athletic Training At Bowling Green State University and then further my experience with a Certified Personal Trainer program through the American Council on Exercise.

Sometimes we place our physical wellbeing on the back burner as it can be often overlooked in how large of a role it can play for such small tasks in our everyday life such as playing with pets, working outside or even walking in the park. It is my mission to ensure your physical wellbeing is a priority and that we can achieve all your goals together. Let's get started!

  • Shannon Hamilton
    Certified Personal Trainer

My name is Shannon Hamilton and I am currently in my mid twenties with many fitness goals and accomplishments in my pocket. I am a certified trainer through the ISSA (International Sports Sciences Association).  I began my fitness journey as a competitor, focusing on many sports such as, volleyball, softball, weightlifting, and track. These sports have shaped my future in granting me the ability to play at a collegiate level. Once my career as a college athlete came to an end, I found myself still craving an athletic and competitive drive . Through this transition I began a lifestyle change and found a deep admiration for the world of female bodybuilding focusing on the figure division. This sport has completely shaped my life to this day. I have embraced an overly disciplined schedule, following nutritional regiments, cardiovascular training, and most importantly the art of weight lifting and strength training to achieve the body needed to compete at a high level . With numerous years under my belt I have became a well rounded personal trainer, athlete, competitor and fitness expert when it comes to training in many aspects of fitness .

  • Jen Toronski
    Lead Trainer, NPTI, Manager

My name is Jennifer Toronski, and I have been a personal trainer here at Fitness Together for ten years.  I decided to get my training certification after the birth of my third child because I have always been interested in the health and wellness industry.  I started as a medical assistant but quickly decided I wanted to be more proactive and preventative about health.  Having been diagnosed with an underactive thyroid at an early age, fitness didn't come easily for me. As a result, I understand how hard it is to start an exercise regime and keep the motivation to achieve specific fitness goals. I really enjoy helping others go through their fitness journeys, becoming healthier together, and finding life styles that work for them.

  • Mike Workman
    Certified Personal Trainer

Hi, my name is Mike Workman. I've been a personal trainer here at fitness together for about a year. Before working at FT, I studied and completed my undergrad degree of Exercise Science from Bowling Green State University. I have a passion for fitness, but an even bigger passion for helping people in both fitness and life. I truly enjoy helping people in whatever ways possible, whether it be through weight loss, boosting energy levels, raising self esteem, or even becoming a better athlete.  Through my studies at BGSU and my certifications, I have learned a lot of different tactics to help people get their ideal figure. I love helping people achieve things they thought they could never do and showing them anything is possible with dedication and hard work. I always bring a positive, upbeat attitude to my sessions and motivate individuals in many different ways.
When I'm not working at Fitness Together I enjoy outdoor activities such as Golfing, Snowboarding, Hiking, and Camping. Being outside and staying active is something that is important for me, not only for my physical health, but mentally as well. Through my training I enjoy teaching people the passion for exercise and how they can use it through their every day life.

Hi there.  My name is Corey Nielsen and I have been a personal trainer and strength coach for 10 years.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University and a Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology from Kent State University.  I have my personal trainer certification as well as my certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the NSCA.  I was a ballet dancer for 22 years and performed all over North America, including as a guest dancer with the New York City Ballet for a performance of Swan Lake, and as a guest dancer with the Houston Ballet for a performance of Cinderella.  Because of my years in ballet as well as with my education, I am prepared to work with you to overcome any physical limitation you may have.  I have trained people in order to get them ready to go on to become track stars as well as military personnel.  I have also helped people overcome torn rotator cuffs and ACL tears and I specialize with clinical cardiac rehabilitation.  No matter what level you are, I can help you get to the next one!
