“I’ve held a life-long interest in fitness and nutrition, and though I worked a desk job for 31 years, I stayed fit and healthy by always making fitness a big part of my everyday life.
During the course of my career, wherever my office was located, I found the nearest gym and joined. At the beginning of each week and again each workday morning, I planned my day and made it a priority to schedule a work out, usually during the lunch hour.
I became a fitness mentor to hundreds of fellow employees, because I spoke with passion about what I did to stay fit. I encouraged them to follow my course and work into their busy days – time for fitness. I showed people the charts I kept that tracked my weight and number of workouts. I shared with them knowledge I picked up during a lifetime of workouts and what I had learned from the many books and articles I read on fitness and nutrition.
