    When my wife Debbie first signed me up for training at Fitness Together (FT) – Waxhaw, I never could have imagined the tremendous value the ENTIRE FT team had provided to us.

    What started off as a “Fathers Day” present from my wonderful wife (also a Fitness Together Client), turned into a complete overhaul of my daily weight training routines; routines that I have been doing since an early teen. To think my first reaction to her was “what do I need a personal trainer for…”?  How wrong I was and how thankful I am for having the FT experience.

    The Fitness Together program redefined how I look at physical fitness and training.  All the trainers are highly experienced, personable and adaptable to ones needs.  I trained with everyone at some point but with Dan most of the time.  Each week, Dan's customized program was taking me to a new level, which is exactly what I wanted.  The degree of workout diversity (workout to workout there was virtually no repetition of exercises) the FT team provides is very high, which keeps your interest and motivation where it needs to be.   The FT team challenges you to perform, but in a way that makes it fun and rewarding. You can feel and see the results*.

    Through this, I have incorporated the 100’s of FT inspired full-body oriented exercises into my daily workouts, which as I said earlier, have now been totally re-engineered as a result of the FT program.

    The overall experience at FT is one of those life changing ones for sure and a series of programs that I would highly recommend to individuals of all ages regardless of the frequency or intensity of your workouts.

    Prior to joining FT, my work and life schedule was inconsistent with travel,kids, job, etc... I had a difficult time maintaining any consistent workout schedule and healthy eating habits. My wife encouraged me to get a personal trainer since I got to the point where I had given up on trying to lose weight or get in shape. I just had my 40th Birthday, I was up to 225 (from 170 lbs when we met), I was moody, self conscious, uncomfortable, sluggish, etc...everyone who is out of shape can relate. My wife read an article in a local paper about a Fitness Together Client who was successful with the FT program, so I thought I would give it a shot.

    Chavanne brings a wealth of experience, energy, and devotion to her Fitness Together Ballantyne team. Her work focuses on proactive healthcare, total human optimization, and building a community of clients that consistently strive to achieve optimal levels of health & fitness that improve their quality of life physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, & spiritually. Health & fitness isn't just a career for Chavanne; it's a lifestyle! That transcends to all of the people she is privileged to work with. She greatly values results and relationships and most loves when people experience the joy and freedom of moving well. As the Studio Owner/Operator, she leads with the mindset of "Thin rulebook. Thick culture." She graduated from LSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and minor in Dance Theater. Her professional certifications include: ACSM Personal Trainer, ACE Group Fitness, and RYT 200 Yoga Teacher certification. Her continued studies over that last decade include: Kettlebell training, Slight Edge Performance techniques, and Maximal Human Optimization.

    Brandon received a BS in Nutrition and minor in Exercise science at Western Carolina University. He is certified through EXOS and has been in the personal training field for 3 years.

        I have been into fitness since a young age, as I played sports from youth up to college. My passion is to help people reach their goals and provide them with the knowledge and training that will enhance their lifestyle.  I have worked with individuals of all ages and love the setting here at Fitness Together. One of my main focus points is proper technique and posture, as I believe it is very important in preventing injury and negative stress.  In my free time I enjoy working out, spending time with family and friends, sports, and studying for further certifications.

    Alyssa relocated to Charlotte in January 2016 from Michigan. She graduated from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO with a BS in Exercise science in 2015. In college, Alyssa was a member of the NCAA Division 1 Women’s Ice hockey team.  While competing at the highest collegiate level, she set the school record for points scored in a career.   Training at the collegiate level exposed Alyssa to different strengthening techniques and awarded her with the knowledge to implement those techniques into the training regimens she designs.Currently, Alyssa is pursuing a BS in Nursing from Chamberlain University in hopes to become an orthopedic nurse.

    A fitness enthusiast for decades, Suzanne brings her passion for exercise and well being to her clients. Combining traditional strength training with balance and stability work, she helps her clients achieve their fitness goals by keeping the work varied and intense. In addition to her Bachelor's degree, she has completed the WITS personal training program, NASM Personal Training certification, Yoga RYT 200, and Functional Range Conditioning L1 certification. She is also trained in basic fascia release techniques and kinesio taping.

    Daniel's primary objective is to ensure clients achieve their goals through a combination of perseverance, commitment, and dedication. Careful to tailor regimens structured around each individual’s needs, experience, and abilities, he has trained clients as young as 14 and as old as 85. Certified as a personal trainer through AFAA, Daniel has been a personal trainer since 1994. Himself a dedicated triathlete, he knows what it takes to reach and maintain optimal levels of fitness. Providing constant relevant and informed feedback, Daniel has the capacity to energize every session, with every client. Never one to be completely satisfied or complacent, he constantly augments his knowledge by keeping abreast of the latest developments in exercise physiology and always ensures his clients engage in challenging and varied routines. Daniel holds 2 B.A. degrees from UConn, and has post-baccalaureate experience in Business Administration. He is also a part-time musician and writer and a loving father of a twelve-year-old boy who is the treasure of his life.

    My name is Patty and I’m originally from Colombia South America. The physics of the body have always attracted me since a young age and it is why I attended college to study physical therapy for two years. When I moved to the United States in 1999, I found my passion for fitness. I became a certified personal trainer in 2005 In Greenville SC where I lived for 12 years. I felt the need to help others to achieve their fitness goals, and I also started to compete in NPC competitions as a fitness competitor.  My goal is to motivate my clients, challenge them, and help them build the best version of themselves.  My focus will always be to help individuals achieve a balanced lifestyle that is within health and wellness guidelines so they can stick with it as part of their daily life, not just an event thing.

    Originally from Louisa County, Virginia, Lesley gained his bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology from Lynchburg College. While attending Lynchburg, he became a conference champion in the discus thrower and received multiple all-conference awards in the shot-put.

    Lesley has been working in the fitness industry since May 2014, during this time he has gained knowledge and experience while working with youth, groups, one on one's, and professional athletes. Besides helping others reach there goals as well as maintaining his own fitness and physique, he enjoys fishing and maintaining his reef tank.

    Owner, certified personal trainer

    Lenny is the owner of Fitness Together in Waxhaw. He has a great passion for physical fitness and really enjoys the challenge and excitement of working with clients to help them reach their objectives. “Our client’s goals are my goals and I take great pride in that”. His approach to overall wellness, nutrition and body conditioning is exemplified in his motivation and dedication to fitness. “Working out is not just about your body, it’s an enrichment of the mind and soul as well”. Lenny is married and has two sons and recently moved to the Waxhaw area from New Jersey. He has multiple Personal Training certifications as well as being a certified Sports Nutrition Consultant.  Lenny played Division 1 soccer and earned his Bachelors degree from the University of South Florida. In his free time Lenny enjoys doing anything sports-related with his 2 boys.

His approach to overall wellness, nutrition and body conditioning is exemplified in his motivation and dedication to fitness. “Working out is not just about your body, it’s an enrichment of the mind and soul as well”. Lenny is married and has two sons and recently moved to the Waxhaw area from New Jersey. He has multiple Personal Training certifications as well as being a certified Sports Nutrition Consultant.  Lenny played Division 1 soccer and earned his Bachelors degree from the University of South Florida. In his free time Lenny enjoys doing anything sports-related with his 2 boys.
