    Everyone has a weight loss story, I am sure mine is very similar to yours. I worked out for years while I lived in Minnesota and reached all of my goals. Then, I relocated to NC and let everything except the gym and my health, take priority. That was a huge mistake. I tried several gyms, but again, I had lost my focus and commitment which resulted in a 20 pound weight gain. Then, I found Fitness Together. Initially, even though I was working out 4 days a week, I still ate what I wanted and justified it. My before picture was taken in May and was truly my wake up call. All of a sudden things clicked, I entered the gym for my next session and pushed myself to the limit. When I left I was completely focused on my nutrition. By December, I had lost 22 pounds.*

    The Fitness Together team are phenomenal. My trainer would train me and tell me that if I wanted it I had to put the work in. We have laughed together, I have cried, they have pushed me until I thought I couldn't do it anymore, but I can and do!     I have exercised all of my life; running, cycling, swimming, lifting weights and even trying a personal trainer. Sure, I was in ok shape, but I never saw any noticeable results and still worried constantly about how much or how little I ate.  I felt like the definition of insanity; doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result!

    “Private training gets results, gimmicks don’t”.  I’ve always been skeptical about claims that sound too good to be true.  This tag line from FT sounded like typical marking fodder until I met Joe for my free introductory session.  Joe and all the trainers at Fitness Together Steele Creek have held up their end of the bargain through a professional approach based on proven results and hard work.  Each trainer I have worked with at FTSC has demonstrated in-depth knowledge in nutrition, exercise, recovery and on really bad days, even a little compassion.

    While I still have a long way to go, I am proud of my accomplishments so far.  I know that I could not have come so far so quickly without the team at Steele Creek.  I can really see that when my job requires extended travel.  I don’t push as hard in the hotel gym (if I make it there at all); I slide on my meals and skip cardio.  When I stick to Joe’s plan – and Ray’s routines – and if I am honest with myself, I see steady progress.

    The key – to me at least – is just that, steady progress.  This is a lifestyle change for me, not a project I need to finish before I get back to what I was doing before.  I can’t imagine a better team of trainers or a more supportive group of clients.  Thanks, to everyone at FTSC.

    My love of fitness started at age 14, after losing nearly sixty pounds of bodyfat. I realized how much better I felt living an active and healthy lifestyle rather than a sedentary one, and at nineteen years old, I became ACE certified. My goal for all clients is to build upon their athletic potential through weightlifting, high-intensity interval training, and low-impact cardio, all as means of lowering bodyfat percentage, increasing strength, and improving mobility. I have worked with all different ages, fitness levels, and walks of life.

    Certified Trainer

    Logan attended the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science.  While attending, Logan was on the varsity swim team for all four years, earning multiple NCAA All-American Honors, and currently is a team record holder.  Additionally, Logan is a certified personal trainer through NASM.

    Through competitive swimming, Logan gained a true passion for fitness and teaching that to others.  In school, Logan coached a team of young swimmers who where just beginning the sport.  He used this platform to promote the benefits of becoming fit while learning valuable swimming skills.  No matter the age, Logan loves to see when client accept a challenge, but he’s right there motivating them to reach their goals.  He believes that high energy and positivity are two of the easiest ways for clients to reach success in the studio.

    My love for fitness started 5 years ago, at age 42 when I received an alarming diagnoses from my doctor. For years to took my health for granted, and my bad habits finally caught up with me.  I needed to change my attitude and make lifestyle changes if I wanted to live a longer life.  I started bodybuilding to stay accountable because bodybuilding requires a lifestyle of regular exercise and good nutrition.  Within 6 months I was healthier, and became an undefeated National Level Figure competitor.  By age 47 I had won 3 Figure Overalls, 3 Masters Overalls, rate 5th at the North Americans, and at age 46 I won the prestigious Arnold Classic Master Figure Overall.  My health and wellness journey has motivated me to share what I’ve learned, inspire my clients, and assist them in understanding the value of regular, progressive exercise coupled with good nutrition, as well as coaching and supporting healthy lifestyle choices. I embrace a positive approach which is proven to promote lasting change.  Invest in your health. Looking good is a bonus

  • Zach Marzo
    Certified Trainer

    Zach is a Certified Fitness Trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA).  He received his bachelors degree in accounting at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC).  He went on to complete his Masters of Accountancy at UNCC.  While attending college, Zach started training clients at his home gym and realized how passionate he was about fitness and impacting people's lives.

    Zach is very passionate about nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle.  Zach stands by the motto, "You can't out train a bad diet."  He preaches balance and portion control.  Zach truly believes there is more to training than losing weight.  "It's about changing yourself, your mentality and your confidence.  You train to become stronger inside and outside of the gym."  Outside of training Zach, is a bodybuilder and is looking to compete in his first physique show in 2016.  "When I'm not training clients, I'm training myself.  I eat sleep and breathe fitness.  It's what I love."  When talking to Zach, you can see his enthusiasm and passion for nutrition and fitness.  He truly believes that fitness isn't just about building a physique.  It's about building a strong mind.  He plans on continuing his education in nutrition in the future.

Diane earned her BS in education from Hofstra University where she was a competitive gymnast. She earned her MS in Sports Management and exercise physiology from New York University. Combining her competitive nature with a wealth of experience and a ton of energy, Diane motivates her clients to stick to their exercise program! When not in the studio, she enjoys time with her husband Jason and her dog Sadie!

  • Bryan Wisdom, M.A.
    Owner/Operator

    Bryan has two decades of experience in the health and fitness industry. “I’m most excited about how well my staff and I implement functional training into each and every workout.” He received his B.S. in Kinesiology from San Diego State University and his Masters in Education from Loyola Marymount University. Bryan spent nearly five years training clients in biomechanics at the Egoscue Method exercise therapy company in San Diego, California. He was certified by the NSCA and has worked with NFL, NBA, and professional golfers. He has assisted clients with postural and biomechanical issues and uses exercise to restore the body to proper function. “For me training is about getting to know my clients, and finding the best way to help them attain their goals.”

    For almost a decade he has served the Mooresville community as owner/operator of Fitness Together Mooresville. During that time he has built a great staff-“All my team members go through a very specific training system learning posture and corrective movement. It’s great to see how much of an IMPACT our trainers make in our client’s lives.”  You may see him out on the lake or a trail doing things that make him come alive. His passions include surfing, wakeboarding, SUPing, trail running, and biking.

For years to took my health for granted, and my bad habits finally caught up with me.  I needed to change my attitude and make lifestyle changes if I wanted to live a longer life.  I started bodybuilding to stay accountable because bodybuilding requires a lifestyle of regular exercise and good nutrition.  Within 6 months I was healthier, and became an undefeated National Level Figure competitor.  By age 47 I had won 3 Figure Overalls, 3 Masters Overalls, rate 5th at the North Americans, and at age 46 I won the prestigious Arnold Classic Master Figure Overall.  My health and wellness journey has motivated me to share what I’ve learned, inspire my clients, and assist them in understanding the value of regular, progressive exercise coupled with good nutrition, as well as coaching and supporting healthy lifestyle choices.
