Following undergrad, Sean obtained his ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist certification to better treat the inimical effects of physical and chronic disabilities through exercise conditioning. He specializes in lower back injuries, ACL/MCL reconstruction, complete knee replacements, and rotator cuff injuries. He has worked as an Exercise Physiologist for an Industrial Rehab clinic and also has experience as a Physical Therapist Aide/Fitness Instructor for three physical therapy clinics and UNC Hospitals. Before relocating to Cary to take on the manager position, Sean worked as a Personal Trainer for Fitness Together in Greensboro for 2.5 years. When asked why he wanted to take on an ownership role, Sean replied with:
"I truly believe in the value of training we offer here at Fitness Together. This isn't a stereotypical personal training facility. Any studio can teach their clients WHAT to do and HOW to do it but we also teach our clients the WHY factor....why are we doing this exercise, why is this exercise more beneficial than another exercise, why are we going at this intensity, why is this exercise going to help you become a better YOU, etc. I love our clients here at FT Cary and I look at them as my family. I know every client on a first name basis and every client knows me on a first name basis. I want the clients to leave this studio feeling like the best version of themselves and I will ensure that myself and my trainers do absolutely everything in our power to make that happen. Becoming an owner is my way of committing to our clients that I'm here for the long haul and I will be with them every step of the way for their journeys."
